Curious...Is anyone smoking or dabbing the RSO oil? As in 1lb of AAA -> 2oz oil. That would be amazing. But I'm starting to gather that this high end bud-mad bho is probably close to the same thc level. Anyone know?

Properly made BHO from good product will be as potent, if not more potent because it will be more pure, butane will pick up less impurities and it's contact time is quite low (although if you wash it, contact time 30 min, it will not pick up many impurities either). It will also taste much better.

2oz off a lb is 12.5% yield, off pot the lowest I've personally gotten was 15%(mid grade nug), and a high of 29% (very sticky, high quality nug) using butane. AAA chronic should be giving a 15-25% return consistently, depending on strain, with commercial kush's yielding quite high if grown well.

I imagine taste and smell would be kinda gross. I've had some RSO sitting around for a while and I wouldn't dab that stuff. I'd rather dab the sort of stuff tacoma posted!!

How much bud or trim did it take to get that much? 50 g is more than I've smoked or vaped in my lifetime.

Watch this, only listen to the dr's, skip the rest, especially the extraction 'artists' (it's science, not art!!). Dr Alan Shackleford, and the second doctor on the panel ("I've smoked since I was 16, you can see how bad that turned out!" he says) is Dr Bob Melamede. I'll trust them over a few journalists / NORML.

But Dr Shackleford (why couldn't you be Rusty??!) is on the Colorado advisory board work group for medicinal safety. Harvard trained doctor. Speaks on extracting, material used etc... In my opinion the other 'experts' with just hands on experience can go walk. Very well spoken.

tldr; Properly made bho from good, pesticide/herbicide free product = no health problems, slight lung irritation, but you're ingesting vapor/smoke, it irritates slightly lol.

this isnt as cool as all your guys' shit but i took about 12g of oil made from an ethanol extract and dissolved it down into 125ml of everclear again to make a tincture. i saw a recipe for some hard candies that used a tincture so i figured i'd give it a whirl. i hate oil as its so hard to deal with and never got into the dabs and whatnot since im such a lightweight lol.
