Not what he meant, and you know it!!!!!
But, I would say yes... The chem 4 is gonna have to be super potent, to keep up w/ the LP.
It's got it beat in size, and finishing time. Potency is it's last chance LOL.
Do you have a veg room? What's your plan for the future?
Are you going to get seeds, or keep clones going in there?
I wonder how many times you can re-veg a plant? I'd think It would put out a pretty large yield on the 3rd go around, having a huge root system, and large, developed branches from being 1 year old

I am kinda afraid to try seeds for now. I am hoping that the LP is an awesome smoke, because I am going to try to re-veg her, then take clones once she's well established before throwing back into flower. Chem 4 I can likely easily get clones of later on if I want, so I am just going to chop her totally. The LP has been a pleasure to grow. I am really going to try to see if I can get a hold of the person who gave me these, and see if he'll get a hold of the person who passed the LP clone on to HIM... maybe I could somehow find out the genetics...

Why afraid of seeds? The sexing issue? That one does suck.
I'm glad you have a plan. I wouldn't worry too much about the genetics...knowing won't change anything, though it would be nice to know. Don't stress about it, I mean.
My purple strain is kinda a mystery strain as well. I went ahead and made up a name for it and everything. I have very little info, on my favorite plant. You too. But, we both made them grow.
I just noticed you are in CO. Can you go to the store and buy clones, like they do in cali?
That would be sweet. I'd grow all strains of kush and diesels and skunks, etc.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should :)
Sounds great, until you bring home some unwanted residents of their 'clean, licensed facility'....Wot a joke.

As far as sexing...Not the best pictures, but should be enough their to learn, was for me. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=207699

Ooh..good point. Have to have a seperate room for chemical treatment, and cloning a clone of the clone.
Thats a lot of work. Never mind. I shall stick with what I got until it stops working, anyway

Nah, I am pretty confident in sexing skills even though I haven't had the need to do it in person yet. I seem to be always right on the photos I see on here, though. LOL! I just am afraid I'd be the "lucky" one who'd get ALL males. I found a seed in a bag a friend of mine got from a dispensary. I might try to "practice" with that.

Not stressed about finding out the genetics of LP, mostly just curious :D Plus, I have been an avid genealogist for well over a decade, so I like knowing about ancestors. Hehehe.

No, you can't just go to the store and buy clones (yet). You CAN if you are a med patient, but just recreational? No. You can legally be GIVEN clones, seeds, plants, flowers, etc., but they do not have it set up for retail sales yet.

Wow LTTG - I can hardly believe this is your first round :tiphat: Truly outstanding work. LP looks good enough to eat ;)

Time to start flushing!!!
Almost there, I can't wait to see what you get

They've only had water for the last two waterings, so we're good there :D LP will be harvested probably sometime late this coming or early the next week, and I will attempt to get her to re-veg afterward. CD4 still has a couple weeks to go.

Should be fun to harvest a plant intended to reveg, not chopping her to bits and all.
I heard that you should leave some calyx on the tips, as this is where it regrows.
I don't know about that, but I'm sure someone will correct if I'm wrong

somebody somewhere had to start from seed... and it gave you something that you were able to clone, and reveg and clone again... seeds are the beginning brah... just think if anything ever happened to what you were growing you'd love to be able to go back and start a new with... a seed.

i'm just sayin. :plant grow:

No doubt you will have seen this thread https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=26290 - following this guide I have had 50% success from the 2 plants in my first round of reveg... 2 more currently underway.

One thing I would say is that it can take a really long time to reveg... it is something I will only do on rare occasions in the future. It is much better to just be patient at the start, and veg the plant a bit longer to get good clones before flipping.

Ya know how sometimes we don't quite remember things just right, especially when we're stoned?

I started thinking about that when it occurred to me that maybe lemon pie is lemon thai, and the name got scrambled somewhere back along the way. Just sayin'.

I like growing from seed. Getting them can be a weird trip. I really don't think there's much to fear from Customs interception here in Colorado- they apparently just keep the seeds when they find 'em, and Colorado Law enforcement isn't interested, either.

Seeds are easy in their own way. No mother plants to fuss over requiring separate accommodations. No depending on other people for clones & no imported bugs, either. You can grow a crop & stop for awhile, or overlap germination of seeds with harvest of mature plants. You can grow autoflowers for quick results. You can create your own seed, even selfed feminized seed from a single clone mother.

And you don't need to depend on anybody other than Xcel energy.

Yeah, I know. I will get there. I just want to get through this one, first! Hehehe...

Hey, NKOTS! Tomorrow will be 8 weeks (it is almost tomorrow... it is 11:05pm here). I will take photos and give a full update then. :)

Yeah, I plan on following what they outlined in that thread. I won't need smoke for quite some time after harvest, so it's okay on the long reveg time. I will be taking clones this time once she's big enough.

I thought of the Lemon Thai possibility, but to me, she looks a little more indica than Lemon Thai does, and there's no way she's a 12-14 weeker. Her trichomes are already cloudy at 8 weeks tomorrow. I have been told she's a 9 week grow. Who knows? :D

I will try seed at some point. Probably after I am able to just go into a store and buy them. LOL!

Aww thanks, wildgrow! I am trying... :thank you:
