/RANT ON/ I'm betting they will risk all hell breaking loose - they are pigs in a candy store with their new toys - they have them and need a reason to use them. Wouldn't surprise me to find they are in cahoots with rippers! And fat lazy Americans are not exactly raising hell about anything other than the fact that their cable bill is going up and they don't like who won on American Idol.
My money says they will do what they want with their drones, the current administration is corrupt and in bed with big pharma. I really wish you were correct in your assessment MK, but I just don't see it happening. Maybe I'm old and cynical now, but I've watched too many dicks getting slammed in doors to think that law enforcement will actually follow the letter of the law anymore.
Sorry for being such a downer, but the last vestiges of respect I had for our government and our leaders have been demolished in the last 10 years. We have never truly been free men in our own lifetimes within the very country that spreads the message of "peace and democracy" to the rest of the world via "any means necessary".
Hell 50 years ago our own military leaders approved a plan to kill American citizens and blame it on Cuba as a justification for an all out military invasion of that island, thankfully President Kennedy refused to go through with it (although he wasn't exactly the choir boy he was made out to be either).
Now we just push a button and assassinate our own citizens wherever they happen to be in the world without due process or legal justification.
State governments have watched the federal government do whatever the fuck they want and have followed suit. We are all simply tax cows to be milked for whatever they can squeeze out of us, and they will do as little as possible to maintain our well being as long as it keeps us on the couch and distracted by the TV so we don't actually realize that our country is being looted and pillaged from within. /RANT OFF/
