You can get condensate pumps for the dehueys. Some of them can pump considerable distance and there under $80 if drainage hose becomes an issue. I got the dri eaz over the similar sante fe because it had an internal condensate pump. I have one in my lung room under my 3 ton mini split, just need to add an anti bacterial tablet everyonce in a while as funk can grow in there.

Just a thought for you guys. I've been collecting and reusing all the water from my a/c's and dehumidifiers for years. It's basically R/O after all.......

Gravity fed runoff to separate holding tanks from a/c`s and dehueys at all my setups were re-mixed with main rez`s once they were bubbled off by powerhead pumps and tested with ph and ppm truncheons , and....

The anti-bacterial tabs help as well , but it`s the "innards" of the dehuey`s as in hopefully being comprised of "titanium dioxide" for safe use back into the feed schedule through runoff , but.....

If allowed to bubble off and get re-mixed at a safe distance from the main rez , it`s just free R/O once mixed without all the wasted H2O down the drain to guarantee EC/PPM`s across the board without question of what`s in your juice....

Dbro....Thanks for bringin old shit to the forefront we learned back in the day for the newer guys.....

Peace.....Freds.....:ying:....

Right now I'm having some real concerns about temperatures during the winter. Most air conditioning condensers are not built to run under 60F outside temperatures. Where I am, I'll be dropping below 60F for 4-6 months of the year and I don't feel like waiting until mid-run to have my AC fail and my plants bake.

I've been tossing around the idea of using window units as emergency coolers if the big split dies.

Any cold climate growers out there have some ideas? I won't be able to draw in outside air with my room setup (attempting to keep things sealed) but I don't want to run a 5-10k$ unit until it catastrophically fails.

I live in Maine and I use a 12k window ac on the wall of an interior room all yr round.
My 12k mini split gets shut off in Dec during the night cause it just gets too dam cold.
How big is your room that needs to be cooled and do yo have bare bulbs hanging?

Back in the day when it was found out that runoff was essentially close if not 0 ppm H2O from dehuey`s and a/c`s with "titanium dioxide" innards/guts ......

I aired on the side of safety to make sure the shit was safe to re-introduce back into my big ass 325 pest control rez tanks , and powerhead pumps for constant circulation and possible bubbling off of anything left inside said runoff was just insurance for me WT.....

That`s all I meant Bro.....I still tested the shit before turnin the gate valves to top off the R/O tanks for once again , insurance purposes....

There was talk of oily residue and algae buildup from different a/c models and dehueys back then so again...always better off safe than sorry.....anyways...

Bubba`s lookin Stout Bro , Hope Harvey`s through the roof with a bumper crop.....Keep up da killer work and....

Peace.....DHF......:ying:.....
