Dry sift Skunkman Style?

Metric 43 micron x2.5 is 110 US.
yeah i think thats probably the trick. re sift with the 61lpi or 220u to 250u to do a quick separation.

Haha, nope.
61 lpi is far too large to be 'catching' anything with.
I know what ester is saying, but that's not it.
The 220 is loose screen you put the kief in the screen and twist the ends of the screen so you have a loose ball of the kief, and shake so the dust goes away. What is left in the ball is pretty good.

It would ruin mine as well, however you can make some really good and get a much better yield.

I'm not sure if any of you post over @ rollitup.. it's a pretty amateur site for the most part.. but anyways..
I got banned for not sharing this technique. LOL. Started a dry sift thread.. and it went great for a few pages until I refused to explain exactly how I did it, what screens I use, the sizes, setup, etc.etc..
I was told "if you don't share, you're not going to be treated well here" and "if you won't share, leave"...

I haven't read anything that you wrote on that site, but if it's anything like the arrogant, rude shit you posted here for your first 50 posts, it's no wonder you were asked to leave since all you did here was say "dipshit, that's not how you do it! I do it perfectly but it's a secret"....but it's good to see how you've matured into being a lot less obnoxious and at least you have offered some hints on how you do it, unlike Sam Skunkman.
You have your own reasons for keeping the technique a secret (and unlike Sam Skunkman, I think you mentioned your reasons are not for monetary reasons) but think about this...somewhere, right now there's some guy with cans of butane, a bag of trim who will blow up his kitchen, suffer burns and probably go to jail because he's an idiot. The best reason to make this technique public is to prevent this from happening and that would be a good thing.....and doing this will help prevent the controllers from using these Darwin Award nominees as examples for heavily increasing penalties for all types of hash possession and hash production and banning hash when cannabis becomes fully legal.
and I'm also no fan of making, using, handling or inhaling butane extracted oils....if your method was public then there would be a lot less petrochemical produced oils around, that's for sure and that would also be a good thing!

and you didn't answer the question about patenting the method......I'd be interested to know why, for your information a patent lawyer will tell you that a patent can be applied for without the word "cannabis" and instead use general terms such as " a method for separating glandular trichomes from dried plant material" and then mention the method covers all types of plant species containing trichomes...;but then again, maybe this method is already covered by a patent used in manufacturing, mining or labs? but even so, most patent applied for nowadays are just a slight twist on existing ones, a good patent attorney will be able to assist you in applying for a patent that improves on or slightly alters this method for specific applications that differ from existing patents.
You also mentioned you would give up the secret for $100...had any takers yet? were they sworn to secrecy too?

if you choose to go the rout of applying for a patent the my suggestion is to find other like products, Chamba mentioned some, and they will have a patent # and at the uspto you can view that patent and it will have the Class / Sub-Class it is listed in and it will also list some prior patents relevant and listed as prior art.
by searching the class / sub-class your idea would be listed in you can do a preliminary prior art search to save some money and get an idea if it is feasible to proceed with a patent application.
if you choose to go forward then explore hiring a patent agengt in D.C. to file and the reasoning is they will have a personal / professional relationship w/patent examiners @ uspto and if any clarification of any elements / embodiments of the idea need to be explained to establish why a new patent should be awarded it is done in person, not via phone or written correspondence.
anyway, the longer this thread continues the closer people get, and once public knowledge then no patent can be had.

@DSW, @ first I thought you was a dick, the way you where blasting people but you have set this sub forum on fire. Which was needed. In the last week we've done more brainstorming than well ever, lol all thanks to the DSW. Dry sift @ 99% is probably the best cannabis product known to man, No butane, water just screens. we just need to learn how to make it.

How could you patent a method and not something that you build? Other than the tumbler there is no machine involved only me and some screens.
