I have noticed people are pretty successful, at least quality wise, using the Hans panel. I believe this panel consumes 56w, covering about 2x2 for most people. This seems really low watts/sqft, yet many achieve around roughly 2oz. per panel.
This might be about half of what I currently get with a 600w, per square foor. It would, however use less then half the power to get that yield.
I don't have a hug abundance of space, but I do have more space then available power.
I am also interested in using panels like this to try and surround a plant to grow a nice big plant. Perhaps using something like 5 Hans size panels per plant, one on each side and one on top.
It might also be possible for this style panel to use a huge heatsink and not need fans, or at least need less.
Questions:
What other panels are recommended that offer this larger spread of the leds?
Do these lower watt/sqft. still produce dense, quality nugs?
Recommended lighting configurations on how to grow large plants using LEDs, or maybe a link to someone doing so.
Thanks!
