You're gonna get a lot of joy out of those two missuses (that's probably not good english). Oh boy, I do miss the times when I was able to grow indoors and had a few lovely little mini-grow operations. No need for big yields, just enough for personal use. Watching them grow like your own children, just a helluva lot quicker. It's sooo much fun!

Looking good--the short veg time is why they stayed small, and the FFOF is hot soil, so there wasn't much need for fert. Sounds like a simple recipe for success! They definitely look great for a first grow!

We're close to 6.5 weeks now... the ladies are doing great. They actually needed water today, which is sooner than what it has been in the past, and it has actually been more humid here than normal, not drier, so they must be getting ready to pack on HUGE AMOUNTS of bud growth! (I am totally making that up. I dunno why they want more water now, but I will choose to think, in my own little fantasy land, it is because they are going to have a bud explosion hahahaha! The power of positive thinking, right? :D )

Thanks! I was wondering where you had run off to :) I missed your frosty pink photos! (I know they aren't actually pink, but the LEDs make them so)

Today was 6.5 weeks, and I had NO time to take photos. They are sleeping now, so it'll have to be tomorrow sometime...

Congrats on the employment!

Day 46 of flower today. Lemon Pie is still just cloudy trichomes, no new amber ones. Pistils still hovering around 50% turned, but new pistils are still popping out. I am being patient :) Chemdawg 4 is really packing on weight now. I am glad I have her staked for sure. She still has about 3 weeks to go. I gotta say, for their small stature, they are producing much better than I thought they would. Makes a gal proud... :eyelash:

I have a migraine today, so I may not be around much unless I feel better later. We'll see. I wanted to take 6.5 wk photos, but they may have to just wait until 7 weeks (Monday). I am sitting here writing this with my sunglasses on. I'll look just like this --> :smoker: very soon...

From my knowledge ( albeit somewhat limited) the last 7-10 days the buds double in weight, so you are indeed correct.
And, I would say those flouros being right up on the plants is why you are getting better yield than expected. Putting them 6 inches away QUADRUPLES the lumen output stated on your bulbs.
Those in between are probably doing you a lot of good.
Can't wait to see the final results.
BTW...my sensi says to harvest when trichs are primarily cloudy, for optimum THC content, as it ambers the thc turns to CBD and such. I really don't have enough experience to say for sure, but his shit is killer

I feel better today, and I decided it was too close to seven weeks to take a bunch of photos, so I just took a pic of a lower bud on each of the ladies :) On Monday, I will post a bunch of seven week photos! BTW, that migraine yesterday was so awful, I took some edibles that I hadn't figured out my dosing on. Apparently 3/4 of one of the bars was a tad TOO MUCH for me. LOL! It would have been about 75mg. I was messssssed up for about 9 hours straight! Stuff tasted freakin' AWESOME though. I'll shoot for half a bar next time.

On to the photos...

First off, the beautiful Lemon Pie (I just LOVE the color of her pistils! Such a pretty lime green. Love love love!)...

And the lovely Chemdawg 4...

Nice LTTG. Great job on your first grow. You're taking care of business, and those plants look very appetizing.

Don't know much about the lineage of Lemon Pie...but that one definitely looks to have more time than the Chem 4, especially just by looking at the pistils...that LP still seems to be putting out fresh pistils, and beautiful ones at that. Very nice work. :tiphat:

That lemon pie looks awesome. I've never seen something like that.
It might be something else, but it looks like the chem has some fresh pistils too, in the top left area

Thanks, ringmasta and others!

I don't know the lineage of LP either, unfortunately. I got the clone from a friend, who also got it from a friend. Figures the one I am really diggin' on is one that is all "mysterious" and stuff. :p The 2nd friend told the 1st friend recently that it is a 9 week strain. CD4 is generally 10 from what I have read, so the LP *should* be done before the CD4. Who knows? The CD4 is also putting out new pistils, just not really highlighted in that particular photo.

Today is 7 weeks in flower, so I will be taking some photos later on :)

Seven Week Photoshoot

Seven Week Photoshoot

Went in and took some photos of the ladies today at seven weeks into flower.

First three are Ms. Lemon Pie! Full shot, topmost bud, lower flower...

...then we have Ms. Chemdawg 4. She just isn't quite as photogenic. Shhhh... don't tell her I said that. Same shots. She has super-long (to me) stalks on the trichomes on that lower bud's sugar leaves.
