Believe me there's just as many slackers doing a poor job for money in the east as there are in the west, well maybe not as many but per capita, it's probably the same. You know how the kids do things.I have a friend, a young guy who just tunes out when I tell him he can't grow at 95 deg indoors.There's no point in trying to pierce his skull.As long as I've been doing this, I see a new way nearly everyday. We're a community of total geeks here, most of the smokers I know stash their weed in a zip lock and smoke through a socket wrench, the kind of people who will grab a cola and squeeze it out of shape while you have a panic attack.Nothing I could do could change how they smoke.
Like I said earlier I could give my friend a small handful of perfect sour( for me anyway!) from a jar and he'll stuff it in his pocket while he's working on a boat all day and tell me it's too crumbly.I'm very happy to have it for myself, luckily I don't need to please anybody but everybody has a few friends who smoke and you can't expect them to remember the name of it, it's sour, kush or crap to them and no matter what a $10 gram will be better than a $15 gram .They think about how much it costs per bowl!! Sorry for the essay....

IMVHO, it has a mouth-coating, lemonhead candy and fuel-like taste that is INsane. The way it coats your mouth and stays is unparalled imo. And ive never even had the oppertunity to get any that was treated with respect. Where i live (at least in my experience) the only sour d available is kept stuffed in plastic bags and treated like work. Its def not kept close to 'headstash-like' conditions, so i can only imagine the good stuff. And it also was the most expensive shit i personally ever came across, $75 1/8. A good $15 more than ANYTHING else around here. This was a few years ago and things may have changed a little since then. So anyways, Ecsd is bubonic imo.

I wonder if jef named that strain before, or after Pineapple Express?

@ Piff lol, not sure bro,. As far as I know the term Chaco's cut was only used by someone referring to there clone. re, real ecsd.,This one is diferent I think? next time I link up with OJD I will try the Chaco cut, to know for sure. Grown next to the Sour D ibl (Ri-ri cut) they are almost identical but the ECSD grows a bit more stocky, still stretchy with smaller buds. The Sour stretches more and has a slightly different leaf and bud shape. Their buds are both silver, greasy with that head banging diese funk/tastel. i've not really seen any of this lemon heads candy thing, but that maybe my grow methods ??
This cut is thick diesel earthy fuelly funk. smooth but dank, tickles/burns the nostrils when you exhale through your nose.

Mike, I know we have mutual friends, and that's the line of people that my cut came from. 7 years ago they never called it ECSD. It was always just sour D. There was no need to make any distinction when it was a tough cut to get. Like I said, in '07 us c2cc people did the side by side of the "original sour d" cut I got and the ECSD they held and it was the same plant. Mine was sourced from the middle of the country, the ECSD from upstate New York.

Was sour diesel another name for ecsd or a diff cut?
I know there are other cuts done by the original crews..but as far as cuts that use the diesel name goes..thats it right?
.... if there are other cuts of d going around that have different names I would not trust them...either they are not real deal orthey are from seed or they came from name changers...any case..I wouldn't trust it to be the real deal
