Playing around with butter, I see! I've bought a lb of organic coconut oil, and am going to play around extracting with that.

Cool bean! Wonderin' what you've been up to! I'm a smoker but I have friends who like cookies, etc. They are too strong for me and give me a 'hangover' for a day or two! Just makes me no-good and lazy!
My next goal is to make some hard candy, like lollipops, but I'll have to learn a new extraction method with Everclear or some kinda grain alcohol, I think.

Waiting on SQ#2 to ripen. She's my last girl in flower,and when she's finished (maybe tomorrow at 63 days whether she's ready or not!)I'll switch my BIG (4'x4') area over to vegging for a month or two if we can keep the heat down. Got some up-and-comers I wanna blossom ASAP!

Thanks KG! Space Queen#3 yielded 21 grams. I LST'd SQ#2 so I expect about an ounce. These were bag seeds so I didn't know what I was going to get....good smoke so far! The Grapefruit tasted like 7-Up yesterday!

Yea, I love both smokes of the Grapefruit and Spacequeen, especially with aging. The flavors are bomb and really nice high too.

Well Space Queen #2 got the chop last night and I swapped out the HPS for the metal halide, checked the temperatures and we're ready to rock on!

Space Queen #2 got the axe Monday night. Her limbs are drying in my custom milk crate drying box. She was somewhat sticky and smelled like fruit and pine. I took these pics in a hurry so they're not the best.
A few days before I took off her LST restraints to see what she'd do.

Got 25 grams off Space Queen #2. Very clear sativa buzz, good flavor, although so far I prefer SQ#3 for taste (has a piney - chem backtaste). Got a pale ghostly gray color to the buds

Although I didn't care for the downer buzz of the Grapefruit, I love the flavor and smell. Plus it's a beautiful plant. So before I discontinue it, I decided to pollinate it with two good strains. I dabbed one branch with Blue Skyscraper and one with Star of Kandahar. I'm pretty sure the B.S. will compliment the Grapefruit and hopefully UP the buzz!

And here's a pride and joy, Dresser. My buddy's son found the seed in his dresser, thus "Dresser". He was or is a MM patient, so it was a seed from strain he bought from his caregiver's shop. His best guess at what it is was some kind of Diesel.

My buddy grew it out and smoked some with me. I didn't get to try any yet after it cured, but he couldn't really identify the taste. Seems like he might've said 'sour', not sure.

Then I listened to an interview with Soma today and now I've convinced myself it's NYCD.

I don't have any experience with Diesels, so idk. I pollinated it with Blue Skyscraper and Star of Kandahar pollen at about 22 days into flower.
