Back on board, OH. Sorry to hear you got battered but I know you're too busy and too used to this shit to take condolences.

Well?

What happened? You still there?

Pardon me while I pat myself on the back...

Though it certainly wasn't planned, ever once in a while a stress test wanders your way. I guess this storm was my test. Those frames work...they really do. Far better than I thought they would. We had some mean gusts commin' off the hill...in the fifty miles an hour range. I was shittin' bricks....something was gonna bust. Steady wind for five or six hours. A couple of inches of rain. I was expecting a disaster.

Total damage?

Lost two bottom branches.... off the same plant. There's some windburn....some smaller branches bent....but we got off way cheap.

Let's all do the happy dance.

That's it. Here's a shitty shot of the beating being adminstered, before any damage was done.

picture.php

The clones were just pushed over...nothing broken, just pull them back into place and tie them up. They looked a lot worse than they actually were.

Flat GG clones.

Fixed GG clones. It ain't pretty but the job gets done.

That was one hell of an intense storm. When you think of Hawaii you don't think of lightning. Yes it happens, but rarely. We get lightning three or four times a year. For an hour, as the storm was overhead, the roar of thunder was almost nonstop. Definitly the most lightning I have ever seen anywhere. One guy got hit, he survived, and a couple of houses got zapped too.

That never happens here...sorry...almost never happens here. And it coulda, shoulda, make a much bigger mess than it did.

Now the trades are back, it's sunny...perfect weather returned quickly. Next up? A couple of months of this....

One can hope....

Back to the happy dance.

August.

Pass the halfway point...rounding the turn...almost to the home strech.

August.

The last two years the authorities paid me a visit. In August. Last year the second week. Year before that the third week. They've flown over me a couple of times this year. They know I'm here.

I hate this part.

Dealing with a pile of cops...it's damn stressfull...the macho shit...all puffed up...as they try to figure out a way to fuck you.

At least we have a plan.

You know what they say about a plan and first contact, right?

Moving along...

Garden came thru the storm...got away cheap...you heard about that...

Now everything is looking good. I think this girl has twelve feet. No flowers on her yet.

Looking up the row everything is doing fine.

picture.php

So far I've been pretty hands off. Besides tying them up, and turning on the water, I haven't done much. It's time for that to change.

The weather, since the storm, has been great...sunny and dry. Again, it makes this trip an easy one.

The clones...there doing good too.

We mowed the Skunkdog down...next up is the variety pack. Three different flavors, one after another. First up an Alien Dog.

picture.php

Then a Triangle Kush.

picture.php

Last a couple of Gorilla Glues. The storm banged these up a bit.

picture.php

After these four are pulled...that should be done right before they do their visit...we take a couple of weeks vacation from the clones...theres that plan working. Hold back on the clones and work on the trees instead.

Casper....I remember Iniki. That was more wind. Flossie will be remembered for the lightning. Never seen it that thick before.

Grey is alive and well. Thanks to him we're giving GS Cookies another shot....if I don't kill it again.

DB...You and me to is loving this weather. No mold, no rot, no problems. Feel free to slap up a shot of your tree.

ozzie...me too.

Jack...gotta wait to party until after GH has gone.

Green House

Green House

Those are some trees dirty boy!what type greenhouse is that?size etc.aloha
It came from Green House Specialist in Keaau. This is the cheapest one they get in. They are 21 ft wide and 13 ft tall and how ever long you like mine is 36 ft long. I put on the screen, it keeps out all the bugs, the smallest mesh I could get. It cost me $2500 in material. And can be put up in 2 days.

how wide is that gulch OH? that's a real purdy shot of it in the last post. trees are looking healthy.

Dirtboy got serious haus in Puna. Those outside puna trees really don't blend in with the local vegetation do they.

shame about the plant counts there. I'm waiting on hitting the lotto so I can re visit.
looks like there will be some smoke waiting if I get lucky...

Eff green harvest!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Casper is here on Maui. Don't know exactly where.

We had a message early this morning that they were flying here. Later on they were spotted down in Haiku. Outside guess they are using the nice weather to head North toward Hana.
