just plain ro water for two weeks, nothing special about the watering, same as before,no run off...half the time the plants are still green at harvest, always clean white ash when burned no matter what..
thank god for this site. Ive spent the last couple years wasting countless hours crawling around with a goddamn turkey baster, pourin water through, then sucking it out the catch trays. thanks a lot danny danko. now that i think about it ive never seen any pics from dan, he probably doesnt even grow. A "senior cultivation editor" that doesnt cultivate, real nice h.t.

same here. but i use well water only. next run i will try the GO line with the GG.

My curiosity about General Organics is getting to me. What makes you want to switch up from your water only mix? I love my simple organic soil mix and it seems to be pretty versatile. I haven't found a strain yet that isn't happy in it after minor adjustments. But my shop guy keeps touting this line as something really outstanding. But it's very expensive compared to my usual purchases.

now i dont want to come off as some sort of pitch man for GO and there is no such thing as miracle in a bottle but i have found it to be highly effective.the only other method i have stuck with for this long,(3 years now with GO) is recycled organic soil mixes.all i can say is all the problems i was previously having with soil disappeared the moment i switched to GO nutes and sterile medium...no more bugs,no more 10 garbage cans of mix hanging out in the house,no more trying to find ingredients,no more hassle period..
dont know why people think its expensive but i have not only the mj garden but somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 houseplants, cactus and succulents,a veggie garden,a flower bed and the yard xeriscape which all get GO nutes at some point or other and i barely even notice the cost of the nutes.and i should point out that i have well over 200 different plant species here, from all over the world and many different climate areas and one nute system keeps them all happy...

i think unc touched on a key thing here ... i get medium and literally amend with nothing... go does great in coco and roots.... save lots of money there and time omg

i do still recycle 100% of my medium straight into my veggie gardens and landscaping, with it being precharged with flower nutes and full of roots i find plants root right into it...

im not liking the roots707,maybe im just over watering but im seeing some of the first signs of "nute deficiency" i have seen in years....just wish i wasnt getting such a good price on it...it grows hella nice veggies though...

I mix the 707,FFOF,FFHF,COCO...So far no issues..I dont need to use any Nutrients when there up potted for the first few weeks all have a Organic Pre charge. I use ro water for the first 2 weeks in the new soil mix.

I have noticed the 707 has a red color run off when used alone.

i totally sucked at growing until i got on ic mag,now im painfully average instead...i have been smoking on some bud someone else grew, nice bud, well grown and all that, but i keep going back to mine...

keep reading, the trick here on icmag is to find the information you need and learn how to apply it to your situation, you can try and slavishly follow someones regime but 9/10 its not going to work the same for you...as i think i pointed out i run about 87 watts per sqft in flower and have fairly rapid air exchange in my room so if you try and use my particular ratios on the nutes its likely to burn your plants.really the best thing you can do is get your room atmosphere dialed in and provide a consistent, stable environment for your plants and then read read read...read the sick plant guides over and over, learn about all the pest, check out other methods, get some books, read them...

theres only 2 magic ingredients for success in the garden, knowledge and experience...

Phillthy .... did Frank ever get that Mix off to market ??? or is he still working on it ???
I'd love to grab a few bags of that & try it . I'd have to go back & read the thread again , but there was a mix that someone ( might have been you ) said worked great with the NSPB & it was water only after it was mixed together .

thanks unc. i definently have my seat taken here at ic. ive always tried to read all the books and info available, but this place has helped me much more, as there is an almost infinite supply of knowledge and experience. Also, being able to see the results from various methods and speaking directly with others is an amazing oppurtunity i would not otherwise have.
And i do realize our rooms, environ, etc. are different. Among other things, i only get about half the lumens/sq ft as you and know if i tried your exact methods, i would not get your results. That said, you have already begun shifting my paradigm, and am thrilled to be enrolled!
