Mass/RI/Con Growers here! ...Part II

MOB's a great breeder. In the cross I've seen, plants haved surpassed the quality of both parents. I 'm running some mob x allagash indica for the first time, and they're looking bomb (and very mob dom).

That's great to hear ..... Phot some landrace Thai genetics and c99 that I want to use in the cross w MOB ..... To help w veg time and yeild ...... But first is first .... Gotta get my hands on mob ..... Hopefully before summer is gone
Yeah I'm not basement grower lol. Tend to never use periods when I'm wiked stoned. Gemini wadup? I hope diesel is fine not like he can't hold his own lol

What up bro .... Yeah he's good ..... Haven't seen or hear the other dogs since ...... Gotta chill and smoke up sometime ..... Ik I keep saying it but I figure one day I won't be constantly busy at work or out in the woods w the girls lol

Just dropped (12) 10" plants out in these fields bordering a marshy/wetland type area .... 9 blue blood(s99x abusive kushaze), nl5Haze(#1) and 2 CJ crosses

All planted in ground w 1gal of coco and heavily amendended ... Added water crystals too ..... Caged em and staked em all ....... Also added lots of hot chili flakes around the plants and sprayed them w a neem/garlic/cinnamon/hot chili spray to keep the bugs and critters away ..... Going back this week w habanero spray and add crushed dry habanero pepper flakes around the plants to keep deer away .... Hopefully

That's nothing, CT was like 2mil in escrow.

Not saying it's impossible to do... 500k -> 2mil isn't even a large business investment (think national or world stage)... but it certainly excludes people, like most of us, from the opportunity. It's a hell of a lot more than a mom and pop shop needs.

People with 500k to escrow a business are not the kind of people I want running these businesses. I am probably over generalizing, but o well. It certainly excludes me from trying to do it, that is all they cared about.

So whats up guys need your opinions here. I got my next round of plants veggin in solo cups waiting to be put into 1gals this week. A few of the plants have been showing this weird leaf spotting, at fist I thought it was some sort of mites or thrips but its def not, just white/yellowish spots. Also it isn't showing this spotting on any of my moms or in the flowering room, just the clone tent. Anywho I noticed its slightly on a couple plants a week or so ago. Then last time I fed them I went hard, 700ppm's. It was high because I doubled up on the cal-mag because I thought this og kush wanted it, it kept showing slight signs of a cal-mag deficiency, the other clones which are the stardawg also have it which is what pictured. Just wondering if anyone here knew what was going on, whether its just a nute burn, ph spotting, too much cal-mag, etc...

Here is a pic of some OG kush in flower day 45 or so...

It's nuts what the State & towns will get out of this, w/ all the permit & application fees.
The State added that a dispensary has to use a 3rd party laboratory to test their buds, another cost.
It'd be a better business move to start a lab! :D

Nice Otto, @ least w/ the OG Kush!
I'll defer to the experts on the leaf-spotting, but hopefully just a nute glitch. Did something similar last month, maybe doubling up on an additive or sumpthin', but those spots are a new one to these eyes.

Thanks, HL.....new to me as well and kinda wierd to be honest. I am assuming it has to do with the nutes or maybe even the new coco, used the rest of that black gold stuff, can't tell if it was me or the coco but salt build ups were a little issue this run. I had to feed much more this run than in the past to keep ppm run off in check. I don't normally check my ppm run off ever unless things starting looking off a bit.

I have seen similar spots on leafs like that from them being wet with the lights on. It only takes a few drips of sweat and wipe off leafs and those spots will appear. So have those leafs had any type of moisture on them while lights on? Foiliar spray or anything? Just my 2 cents. I have it a lot on my od crop after 1st day rain.

I hate to second guess you, but have you scoped the underside of the leaves?

I see that and immediately think pests.

Otto, I had the same spots last month when my veg plants were in solo cups and I was pouring water all over because I couldn't reach the cups.I think it might just be burn spots or something from being wet with the lamps on?? Mine grew out of it and the spotted leaves turned back green when I transplanted.Honestly, I don't know what it is but it didn't affect my plants in the long run or spread to others.
I have the whole flower room transplanted to 10gal + containers with all the plants lining the walls and 3, 600's stacked up the middle with 2 small 6" booster inline fans blowing through the tubes lightly. The big veg plants took well to being man handled into the new barrels.I even used some plastic bushel baskets used for seaclams, the original airpots!
Hope you guys are having a great summer, here comes August and the best weather of the year.:)

Old luck, I didn't even have that thought cross my mind but I think your probably right. I haven't foliar sprayed them in a week or so but I have been feeding them a bunch and splash back has happened.

DZL, that was my first thought as well but no sign of critters and the damage doesn't look consistent with them, its seems more like a burn. Also its seems the spotting is only on a few of the fans leaves and I assume if it were some pest the spotting be more evenly spread around and damage on the new growth. Yet their is no spotting on the new growth at all, and just randomly on a few fans. Thanks for the response!

Slip, thanks for the input, starting to think you guys are on to something! That theory would also explain why I am seeing the spotting only on the clone tent and no where else.

CDM, its SFV....This is my third time growing her the other 2 times I was forced to cull them because of security at day 30ish....This plant has been a tease to me so I hope to finally smoke it this time.

otto - nice man, it looks gorgeous. i plan on clubbing slip and swiping his ;-) i think i heard him cheering about finally having it.

...so after seeing my buddy use the KISS method on his first time ever growing i am pretty much sold on it. he nailed it, start to finish, and the smells/tastes are on point. its such a hassle running a large perpetual w/ lots of variety.. im hoping the KISS method will ease my pains, atleast with the picky feeders. i figure thats a good way to test it; run it on my pickiest feeders & pray it makes life much easier for me! only thing i will add is some cal-mag and silica, possibly a booster at the right time.. but the maxi bloom is already kinda covering that, so i donno.

ChemDg,

In coco I use GH Flora now at 6/9 micro/bloom per gallon and it rocks! Before I mix that I add 2ml/gallon Calimagic to my tap water. (Usually just under 1000ppm total)

In DWC I use Maxibloom which is even easier. (Usually around 600 ppm)

Yup, everyone cheer for me because my SFV and Tahoe cuts are rooted!:woohoo:Now I just have to wait until they grow up a bit.I've never had any og clones, only the hybrids and I can sure say they've been excellent. When I first found this place, S1's of just "OG" were going for crazy bids on seedbay and being new to the cyber-gardens I thought "Wow, that must be some killer weed @ $800 for 10 seeds, I've never heard of it though..."
Now the only problem is out-doing you guys!!:dance013: The best thing is having good growing friends in driving distance, they sure beat the hell out of the bad growing friends I have!

Slip, make sure you label the SFV and Tahoe they look extremely similar when you flower them out, smell will be a little different but looks are almost identical IMO. Also from what I can tell SFV is a cal-mag whore so give her plenty.

How are those girls with the little spots doing? You think it came from the feed back splashing when you watered them?
