I'm gonna go ahead and agree with Freds on this...
Not that I would ever wish a bug infestation on you... but using a high nitrate fertilizer like jack's kills your brix... So the plants have no natural defense against any
I agree with the different aged plants part. When I used to run a perpetual, pest control was a major issue.I strongly disagree with growin different aged plants in the same room when their environmental needs are so different during post flip to end of stretch to full swellage mode through end of cycle , but whatever keeps the rotations rollin for the greater good regardless of sacrifices in bottomline returns is what matters in the long run I suppose........
D9`s putting a different plant in every week , so sacrificed overall returns take back seat to consistent "weekly" returns FTW , and I see this.....I just bitch when shit can be better......sue me.....
Separate monocropped rooms will always yield more consistently once the plants needs are dialed , and it`s not that hard to build more smaller rooms for 4 plants at a time if it can be put in the budget.....but....
Yas gotta do whatchas gotta do ta pay the bills HL and I understand.....
Couldn`t be more proud from what I see with proper watts per sq ft and as close to dialed environment as possible with the swellage of the main colas and laterals thus far......
Keep dialin and thanks for your time Bro....
Peace....Freds...........
Just to chime in on the organics don't produce indoor comment from DHF ,
I recently harvested 16 lb 2oz from 4 4x8 beds using only Dr Earth 4-4-4 and Stutzman's Farm Nutri Rich 4-3-2 with 7% Ca chicken manure pellets...I did this using 32 plants per bed. Including the 5 days to root, they vegged for 14 days. At the end of flowering they were around 40" tall.
At week 1, 3, and 5 I gave them Aqua Power, HumiSolve, Yucca, Kelp. Week 1 I applied Azos from RTI. I also used Calcium 25 at week 1 2 and 3 as well as Albion Calcium and Albion Calcium with Boron applied via Foliar spray.
FWIW that is 2lb per light using all Certified Organic products, even the Soil (Black Gold Natural & Organic)..
Doing the same things I do on my outdoor big plants trip, to an indoor SOG produced the expected results..A lot of dank herb.
On another note, the Cali weather is far from optimal for Ganja on a whole. Yes there are areas here where in fact it is ideal but they are very small compared to how big this state is.
All the best.
