Looking for best Hash Plant

Sometime in 2009 I picked up some of Reef's Supreme Hash Plant. I know some folks have criticized some of his later stuff as inconsistent but I found a really good keeper that lived up to the Hash Plant name. Good yield to boot.

I ended up losing it to mites later on and when I looked recently to replace it, I was rather dismayed to find Reeferman's current website kind of a mess with no SHP in sight.

So I'm asking what Hash Plant strains this community can point out to me as I've been a fan of Hash Plant for a long time.

Those might be good plants to make hash from but for a strain actually called "Hash Plant" I don't think there are any others available except the one from Sensi Seeds. Not sure of the relation to Reef's Supreme.

Thanks for the responses.

Like l2sm said, I am looking for something related to actual "Hash Plant" strains rather than good hash-producing varieties. Not that the name makes it a more true hashish plant than another, but I really like the taste that the PNW Hash Plant cut has as well as how it hits the head.

I may check out Sensi's since I hear it's legit. I thought I heard that the current version is just not the same as it was back in the SSSC days, can anyone comment on that?

Yep from what I understand it's not even particularly good as a plant to make hash from (though surely will make some very nice hash), but the name is because the buds have a hash taste...

The issue is something of a hot potato on the forums.

Some people are convinced Sensi's seeds aren't what they used to be. Often that doesn't seem to be based on first hand experience though. And even when it is, can we really rely on single-pack grows and 20-year-old memories for accurate info?

Others say that at least some of their lines (like Maple Leaf Indica) have been well maintained and are just like they've always been.

What's certain is that was it in 1998 dutch law changed and made running a seedbank there more difficult regarding plant counts and so on and as a result many breeders/banks had to make changes to the way they operate, not always with the best results.

i would check SENSI....there are many as far as i remeber who has some to say about germ., plant etc etc..... If was to give u advice many years on this.. i wouls say. HFH. Afghan/erdurt....
Purple peyote.. Mazar I shariff.. great strain... lot of crystals or go for Nir. A, Indica... serious stuff there

I have always wanted to get the cuddlefish Hash plant. Believed to have come from sensi around 1984. It is similar to super skunk x skunk and is different than the BC hash plant. Another one to score whould be the lebanese hash plant. Both are different and very rare. They say the Lebanese hash plant was grown in mexico years ago and helped start the garlic and onion strains found in the PNW region.

Good luck on your quest and if anyone has these strains still please post.
Hope that helps.

Here's a recent report of Sensi's HP: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=244225

Does it look like the Supreme?

The pheno I had did not have the purple highlights, but had the dense coating of trichomes. The leaf to bud ratio favors bud more with the supreme also. It's a really easy trim. Otherwise it looks similar with the same dark green leaves and classic indica leafing pattern and shape. I'll have to look around and see if I ever took any pics.

There is also a distinctive spicy, hashy bite that was the same as a great hash plant that I got to smoke around 2002.

Thanks for pointing out that thread, I forget how valuable the grow reports are.

I love hashplant. a classic that fits my personality.

Growing the Blue Hash right now, found a keeper. dinafem.

strong blueberry flavor inhale. hashplant exhale. strong stone, good flavor.

I didn't have luck with the hashberry. It was quite good, a good hash strain, but it wasn't a keeper of my collection, it was a tosser.

i tried a mandala bean recently, but it wouldn't sprout after 2 years at room temps, so i'll never know. an old hashberry seed.

you might also want to check out the power kush, just because you dig hashplants too. frosty fruit punch kush inhale with an old school skunk ghani kush exhale and a nice high with the all out body stone.

What regions do you like your hashplants from?

I like pakastani hashplant. I had this killer orange hashplant I'd like to grow, and I tried making a killer sour orange blueberry hashplant that i'm testing now; we'll see.

if you can find eugenics genetics pak99 or old stock sensi star go with that, these have give me huge amounts of lethal memorable kiff and bubble in the past, nothing else has come close tbh.

Honestly, I don't know, having never had the old West Coast style hash plant. To answer what I do know about the CHP Dinafem carries - its quick flowering, produces nuggets that smell initially like anise but dries to a much sweeter smell. The odor is mild compared to other plants, much less worry about smell compared to a noisy strain. The plants I saw were also disease and mold resistant.

vulkania hash plant yielded me one very potent choco smelling hp (1 keeper, i no-germ, 1 hermi). i'm no hp cannaseur but two of my friends have smoke hp since 80's in adam, cali/oregon area and vancuver and were very impressed with her.

Hash Plant cannabis seeds (sometimes called Hasj-Plant) is the progeny of an original cutting that came into the Netherlands from the USA in the 1980s. The cutting was imported for its excellent qualities and Dutch breeders wasted no time crossing it with the infamous Northern Lights #1. The resulting Hash Plant has been a popular strain, in Amsterdam and throughout Holland, ever since

Vulkania Seeds - Hash Plant

Hash plant is the `most chocolate` indica into our collection and a major producer of resin. This is an incredible variety of medium size and with few branches. All production focuses on the main stem, the buds forming very compact and homogeneous from the base. These characteristics makes it ideal for growing indoors into a S.O.G. (Sea of Green).

The plant forms real Colas, thanks to the short distances of internodes, which allows it to support a huge bud. It also has a extremely low leaf/bud ratio.
It is a plant easy to grow, with few needs, and a good candidate for producing crops near a gram per watt. This variety produces trichomes onto the stems, leaves and because of its inflorescences they are completely covered with glandular trichomes full of cannabinoids.

Medicinal Cannabis with narcotic effects.

Flowering-Time: 50-60 days
THC: around 16%

+1 for the Dinafem California Hash Plant.
Like Carlos Danger said, I have no other hash plant to compare it to, though.
I got it as a freeb from the tude, and grew it out in black gold coco blend.
It's been a few years, but I recall it survived my noob abuse very well, stayed fairly short, and had a long fat main cola, with hard nugs on the side branches.
The smoke was strong, but not overpowering, and it smelled somewhat like hash. Very distinctive smell, especially after jar curing for a few weeks.
Some of my buddies are serious heads, with sky-high tolerance, and it didn't have the "Kick" they were looking for. They did tell me it was very good, with awesome flavor, and a very calming effect.
No hermie traits, or funny stuff showed up in the one plant I grew.
Your mileage may vary, but I plan to grow this one again, someday.
Best regards.
