well, tebos needs to decide himself, this is just what i would do now.
and the plant is not at all far into flowering, it is just the beginning.

to make monster-clones that will turn into monster-plants it is advised to take cuttings im 2nd or 3rd week of bloom. and this right now :)

NKOTS and Neeks, you both have raised very good points. I guess it is a matter of whether or not tebos wants to lose out a little bit on the harvest to gain on the next round or not. Neeks is correct though, stressing the plant like that at the begining of flower is going to lessen yield, however NKOTS is also correct in saying that you'll have some bushy as f*ck clones if you take them now.

Weigh up the good and bad Tebos and make a wise decision. Either way, your gonna end up with some really nice bud:).

Cloning for the first time using a plant that's already in bloom is asking for trouble, it's not as easy as cloning from a vegging plant. So i would say no wait till you're more experienced otherwise you may just end up with a whole bunch of clones that never take root...

Also it's still a tad bit early in flower for tebos to achieve the bushy/branchy effect.

hi kg, cool you joined the discussion as your Pineapple Express is a monster plant i use as example wherever i can ;)

how far into bloom were your PE mothers when you took cuttings, then? and how long did they take to root?

tebos, so what is your decision? don't keep us waiting ;)

Thanks NKOTS:)

They were around 2 weeks i think?(i know that tebos are at day 17 however my girls were faster flowering probably because they are more indica dom) They had more pistols shooting out the tops than tebos does at the moment, and i am pretty sure that is what makes them branchy. They took about 2 weeks to root because we had some really cold temps which slowed things down. Under ideal conditions i could get roots 7-10 days after taking the cut.

Hi guys, I see what you mean but I don't plan on topping the tips because I don't want to take clones or use this strain further :p (not that I'm not satisfied with the strain, just wanting to explore other things)

Here are a few shots from today, will train and water (without nutrients) her tomorrow again.

@latetothegame: looking good!

I like the stuff from Ace/Cannabiogen but before that I will upgrade to a higher wattage in a bigger cabinet, this will take some time ;)

For the last 2 weeks she only had tap water and I gave her a full dose of nutes a few minutes ago. I can only guess that the leafholes and -tears were caused by too much sodium (in the soil and fertilizer). Being in the flowering stage, I think the full dose is appropriate now.

I had a bit trouble with the watering routine because of my working schedule (add other excuses here), a few lower leaves died because of lack of light, everything is working as expected but I have to water her more often.

It would be great if I could harvest before the end of August because I won't have the time after this to manage the plants. With this being the 5th week of flowering I think it's realistic to harvest then.

hi tebos your're doing great in that microspace. even if she lost a few leaves, she looks like a sex bomb! so many budsites, i am really impressed. also by her healthy look :)

i will refrain from commenting on your early harvest plans... as i have partly harvested pre-mature bud myself :bashhead:

feel free to see for yourself in my rabbit burrow

I get leaf holes and tears in my LED grow also that are not present in my PLL cab using the same nutes. I'm curious if it has anything to do with the intensity of the white LEDS.

Me three depending on strain. Also noticed they transpire a lot, if the canopies thick, and I lift a leaf, usually there is a dew of moisture underneath. Another L.E.D. thing is nutrient intake, I have yet to burn anything under my L.E.D.'s (I also switched to semi-organic too, might be it...).

Loving the progress Tebos, bud's look massive, until you see your hand for perspective. Gonna be a gratifying haul none the less!

Already checked out your burrow, love it but it's too much wattage for me to copy it.

About the early harvest, not sure what to do, I'll be moving and won't have time/space in those upcoming days.

You've really "bonsai' d" that girl well man!. She is looking great.
Thanks! In future grows I'll stick to tieing them down, the wire is too much hastle actually.

@Neekz & Chloemobile: I thought of the LEDs and i makes sense because the pH/ferts were always in the right range. Maybe it's because of the missing space between the LEDs and plants.

Getting there :D

The smell isn't too strong and the "filter"mat handles it nicely, I'd say earthy/flowery scent with a sour undertone.
