100% true.... I've seen the SFV grown 6 times now over the year, and each time its been different.... But one time it hit omg best OG status, all about dialing and what works for you when it comes to OGK

theres been almost nothing I've tasted this year that has rivaled the flavor on this SFV plant....

I've yet to try the real SFV, but after seeing this picture I need to source her:biggrin:
Beautiful looking lady there, and who says they don't like em thick..I know I do

I voted Tahoe only because its the only one I have ran to verify and I smoke it almost exclusively....

Just picked up the SFV, Fire and the Skywalker to check out as well...

I'm sure you can't go wrong with most of the cuts around as long as they aren't some CC garbage...

Is the fire cut you picked up the raskel fire cut in clone only form or from a seed pack?

I see the Tahoe taking the lead but SFV would probably be in the lead if it was there in the beginning. Anybody no the difference w Valley and SFV?

My homies True OG. She has more of a lemony odor to her, which I'm in love with. She also stretches less that other OG's but has many sites to help in the yield dept. Definitely has a place in the garden. Unless I get the TK

The Tahoe is a nice one indeed and she seems to be the most passed around cut next to SFV before all the newer OG cuts surfaced, so not surprising to see them score well on the poll.. Not to mention they are both very dank.... I have yet had the chance to grow the SFV but puffed her through out the years and she is more on the lemon side of the ogs, if ya know what i mean...

Here is a quote by Smoketrees about the valley...

valley - One of the better yielding. There are several different valley/sfv/818 etc cuts. This particular one a friend acquired in 2005. my friend got the cut from his friend who was moving and had to backup his genetics. In 99-00 the guy paid 5k for a tray of cuts that had valley og, victorville og, sour og, and og diesel. ok im rambling.
But the valley is a lemon pine skunk. One of my favorites, but im biased cause its the one ive been smoking the longest. More of a immediate sativa head rush type buzz, but still your typical blend of effects that og has.

I got the sfv when og was still rare and the cat who sold it to us said that tahoe and sfv were the same crews and cuts. Anyone else hear that? This was 2002 or 2001. Back when you were lucky to get it at 560 a zip.

Damn, i remember those days as well as 80 an eight straight up from the clubs for the bomb bomb back around that time... I've also heard that before, but for sure they are not the same, probably the same cru was pushin the cuts.. Tahoe is more Fuel Earthy , while the SFV is more Lemony Pine....

lol.. i hear you on that.. Really, its all subjective all Ogs have the fuel aspects to some degree but unless you have them side by side its really hard to tell, but you'll notice the subtle differences... Also growing conditions/medium can make huge difference when it comes to taste smell.. Your SFVs look dank as hell on the other thread.. props!

EOS: Now that sounds like one hella a smoke fest id love to attend..:smoke out:

Would be a great idea to have a og smoke out and compare the cuts on how they smoke. Would be cool to trade cuts too

That was funny because I think me and EOS just smoked those that he mentioned before I read it. Danks EOS, I'm feeling the Louie, the keeper LHB #3, lemony True, and you know I'm partial to the HO earthy fuel, we need a fresher specimen of the TK though. And just like many of the peeps on here say, it's difficult to pick just one of the flavors. Fuck it, I'm just gonna have to have them all:dance013:

Who knows now a days? She looks pretty legit like the cut so far...very viney, lots of three bladed leaves but that can look like any OG.

Time will tell....gotta get them flowered out so I can really see whats up

I've smoked alot of OGs and none have come close to the Ghost cut I have ....earthy, fuelly OG goodness!!

I love the Tahoe and SFV ....in that order too!

Some plants take more skill to grow than others and alot of peeps are growing strains that don't match their skill level, that's my 2 cents!

What do these plants want that requires more skil? What does Tahoe like?

Hopefully you have the legit cut.
