For now I am just gonna stick with the genetics I have here that have shown no signs of mites.

I kept them in my bedroom with a T5 over them. They look crazy healthy. I've scoped and scoped and see nothing on them.

My rooms been broken down for about a week...tossed everything but a couple plants I kept from the room - a Cherry Pie, a Double Dream and a couple Girl Scout Cookie teens were put outside last Friday and dipped in a mix of Avid and treated with the OGBiowar a couple days later. They won't be coming back inside, but I want to see if the OGBiowar (or Avid) does anything. Gonna treat once more and then stop the Avid and only use the OGBiowar for a week or so.

I am also receiving some predator mites today, a mix of all three main kinds.

I'm gonna heat the room up one last time, I can only get it to 115 without flipping the breaker... but I'l keep it there for 4+ hours.

Then put the good plants in there and dump some predator mites in the room.

Gonna order some more predator mites in a week and put them on my outdoor plants and stop the Biowar outdoors.

my thermo hygrostat wouldn't read higher then 99° after that it went crazy and stopped giving a reading. man they sure start stinking when you turn the ventilation off and let them get cooked like that. think i'll just get some spinosad, after about 1 hour it was so hot in there i got worried about all the equipment and turned the ventilation on again.

I went to BPG in Berkeley today to try to grab some new clones.

Grabbed 5 of them, and brought them home.

Put a 60x scope on them and found eggs, tons of them..

Gave me my money back and offered me 20% any future orders.

I went to BPG because the last time I went to Harborside I found eggs and bugs on DHN's Alien OG, Harlequin and Fire OG cuts

Thought you all should know.

these lil sucker have made their rounds in the canna scene for sure.

does the ogbiowar effect the bees at all? I just ordered a pack, 50 bucks, hopefully the 16 oz will cover my garden. so Ima dose avid today, again in about 3-4 days, then hit with the ogbiowar 3-4 days after that. Ima hit the grass around the area too.

Pics of my healthy teens that were kept out of the growroom and away from the other old plants (Phantom Cookies, Med USA, Candyland):

Time for a little bit of nutrients, the roots are a solid mass of white in the cups.

Gonna give 'em an Avid / Einstein Oil dip and then into the room with dimmed lights for a day or two.

from what ive read, broad mites run fast. this is apparently one way of identifying them to other mites.
ive had the symptoms, scoped and used avid, two sprays three days apart. ive seen what I certain are eggs my not seen anything running around. im wondering if ive been too hasty in my actions but it did at least wipe out the fungus gnats ive seen around for ages.

Avid does not kill the eggs.

Tarsonemid Mites lifecycle is between 7 - 21 days.
Meanining the larvae will keep hatching sporadically (depending on when they were laid) for a few weeks.

Also, on the info sheet that comes with Avid it specifically states "For Tarsonemid mites treat any new growth".

Keep treating with Avid 2 - 3 times a week for 3 weeks. Pretty sure it will work.

I added Triact 70 (and then plain Einstein Oil) to the Avid mix. Neem kills the eggs too.

In my experience it is a very specific trait to Tarsonemid's (BM's/Cyclamens/Etc.)

can someone give me more detailed instructions on applying the og biowar.

also is it ok to mix avid with sm90?

My plants look like they have come back around since the 3-1 safer then the azamax, so it must be the mites doin the damage. finna hit um with avid while I wait for the og biowar.

also which predator mites and where do you order? Since this is an outside crop they might return from other plants so when they start flowering Id like to get some predator mites for um and maybe build up a colony....

Thanks to all for the support on this thread!

It's not supposed to hurt beneficial insects.

O

OrganicOzarks

20 grams of ogbiowar foliar into 1 gallon of water/tea etc.. Mix it in, and let the powder settle for 3-5 minutes. Then pour off the liquid slowly (because the powder will settle in the bottom of the container, and you don't want to pour it out with the liquid) until there is about an inch or so of liquid with powder residue left.

Then spray your plants, all leaves, stems, etc.. I even spray the mulch on outside plants.

You only need to do this once per week, but I would suggest doing it every 3-4 days for 3 applications, then switch to once per week. I am still spraying twice per week, but I am going to stop once August starts. I wanted to be super extra safe.

I am chopping a room in a couple of weeks that I sprayed 1 week before flip, and it is turning out great. They completely bounced back. The resin production is better than usual, the odors are very strong(my carbon filter is having problems keeping up), and the yields appear that they will be on the high side.

It would not have happened without this product.

I tried so many god damn things that I got to the point where I was going to scrap my grow, and start over. This is the only thing I use now. It has even cured me of fungus gnats. I grow in recycled organic soil so I always have persistent gnats. Not anymore.

Are you using aspirin & silica? Silica toughens the leaves so pests can't munch as easily.

I am using your aspirin recipe (325 mg per gallon), but not Silica.

I have a gallon bottle of Silica Blast, I will start adding it.

& thank you :)
