hey, is that hydroton and coco?
yes, I'm trying chow, so far, so good. I'm kind of testing it in this small one before I commit to my 18 site ppk at my other spot. I've got the float control hooked up this time and I'm excited to see this thing work properly. I averaged 8oz/ plant in my last run without the float control. although they sufferd some tip burn they turned our better than I expected. any advice along the way would be helpful. thanks for stopping in

ppk = passive plant killer. It's a newer grow system designed by one of own members (delta9nxs). Counter to it's name, it grows plants very well. There are quite a few threads about them now, just do a search and i'm sure you'll find all you need to know.

it looks like they are growing...it looks like 5 days since the last pic. I started feeding for a minute and fifteen every three hours, watering every two hours had them looking a bit over watered. these are Scott's og by rare darkness and I haven't even harvested the first run of them. they are super stretchy and lanky. my donut stacks are a mess right now as I overvegged and got lazy with canopy management during stretch. I will get agood idea of how they grow and stretch this time since I won't be tying them to screens, just a couple of bamboo stakes.

these Scott's og are triple stretchers, so I better get them in the flower room or they will be overgrowing the ceiling. they look like they have been growing pretty good. since I installed the float valve box my ec and ph have been holding steady.

these girls are super stretchy/ floppy,I had them tied up to the screens all over the place in the donut stacks. I may have to put some chicken wire up on the ceiling, I don't know that the four out five nails that I usually use will be enough anchor points.

out with the old, in with the new. I really bought the 12 inch can for the rental, but I thought it would be a little more quiet than the vortex.... it's not. I think it moves about 500 more cfms though.

What is the diaper the vortex is wearing? Is it for noise or heat?

I like day 1 of flip... but I love day 63... You da man Otis.

just wanted to thank delta9nsx real quick. since correctly putting my ppk together all the parameters have been steady. my ph has been around 6 and the ec at 1. my plants are very happy. they are in chow mix 1 brick for every bag of clay pebbles. I'm satisfied enough to put the 18 plants in the big ppk at the other house in chow. next time you seer this, it will be full of happy plants:

not sure what the diaper is for, I bought it second hand. it's about an inch thick foam rubber pad painted white. if nothing else it has saved my head a few times, the ceiling is 6'6".

I made the mistake of putting two varieties on one table. even with two extra weeks under hps and being quite a bit bigger going into the beds the deep strawberry diesel is stool struggling to fill the screen. madness( top pic) is growing super fast, I've been weaving and tucking and pinching to try to give the dsd time to catch up to no avail. I'm going to have to flip and remember to monocrop, monocrop, monocrop, always monocrop when cash cropping. anyway here are the beds madness on top deep strawberry diesel on bottom.
