My younger cousin (16 at the time) had a train derail by his house, come to find out, tons of poisonous gas was being moved that day and the containers broke when the train derailed... Longer story short my cousin now has massive brain damage and inflammation caused by the gasses, if he doesn't take a super concentrated THC/CBD type pill (over $2,500 a pill!) every 20 or so days, he will die; slowly and vary painfully as his brain swells up to the size of a watermelon. Now IF my cousin was able to buy these pills at a MMD, you would have instantly mark him as a "Young Kid just in it for the cheap and 'legal' weed"... I hope one day he can stop taking those pills, lucky the RR company responsible for the derailed train AGREED to pay for ANY and ALL medical expenses.

Was that in Wyoming? I've heard a similar story from someone I know about a 3 year old girl there that has cancer from that.

Why is it that the age of other patients is always brought up?.

ok let me go another direction with what I observed first hand yesterday since you don't care for my age observation

what is the correlation between Bob Marley, Grateful Dead, and Pink Floyd tee shirts and the need for medical marijuana????

I dont mind how old other patients are, or what clothing they are wearing, or if they act just like cheech or chong in the waiting room... other patients are.... my fellow patients.... I don't feel the need to pry or judge.....

on another note

central colorado & ark. valley is BEAUTIFUL right now, lots of recent rain has turned everything green and given the wildflowers a second boost,
I travelled thru the high altitude passes of marshall, cumberland, tincup & cottonwood, scoping tons of sexy wildflowers and some pretty cool critters; marmots, deer, moose, tons of beaver dams but didn't see any beavers.

once i saw people smoking and breaking up bags in the parking lot... hated having to go in the place and tell them.... I kinda felt the same way, didn't mean to come off harsh, dragging hooks, :tiphat:

Haven't been down that way for way too long, but I remember it from when I was younger.

Beavers are mostly nocturnal. Sometimes you'll see them at first light or past twilight in the evening, not much in the daylight.

Too bad about HS- I enjoyed his posts. Wish him well.

Went to the first Med Pot shop to reopen in FC yesterday with my buddy
I couldn't go past the lobby but he said the place was great, very professional.
This is different then last time they were open here, they were run more like head shops.
This place is quite out of the way not like last time when they were in the general public's face

http://www.solacemeds.com/patient-information

my buddy bought some edibles and they gave him a free prerolled joint for being a new customer

awful lot of young kids with medical problems from what I saw exiting the place - haha

Meh. Smart parents try to line up their stoner kids with med cards. It's a form of self defense, a smart answer to something that might otherwise be problematical. For my money, it's good parenting to protect your kids from unreasonable harassment, fines & whatever.

It's like sex- you know they're gonna do what they're gonna do, you just want 'em to have protection.

tincup is a very popular spot, the old "ghost town" that is, wish i had grabbed a photo or two of it in full swing during the summer.
the mtn pass "tincup pass" between mt. princeton and mt. antero is a pretty rough road...

I've got some close friends in the area that rent 4x4 jeeps for tourists & enthusiasts... they know all the good spots, how to get to them, and how rough the ride is to them. Untill recently I only traveled up Mt. Antero to dig aquamarines, smokey quartz, fluorites etc. recently I've been exploring the central colorado mtns more and enjoying the state in different ways.... trying to break a pattern i suppose.

lol I was indeed asking on the condition of the pass. I've never gone over Tincup. Always chickened out and took Cottonwood.

Been skunked on the Hog Trough more times than I care to admit. Those fish know more about flies than I do, I think.

Lots to see and do up here. No question. I only summer here. Denver in the colder months. Not a skier. Been in Colo. since the 70s, still seeing new stuff.

i made it over tincup in my 99 suburban, stock, barely needed 4wd, but yes, very rough & steep, not worse than the trail up the northwest side of Mt. Antero though.

Im the same way, dont ski or board, b ut still loving all that CO offers....
