nah dude I dont think it's a question of your "serious game face" I think it's a simple matter of trial and error, observation, improvement... and dont get me wrong bro if this is an "error"(trial/error) than fucking A man you're killing life lol. (hows that for ironic statement)

sorry if i missed it but what was your nute line up for dwc? I didnt see it listed

fwiw, I've taken ecsd at 9, 10, and 11 and it's definitely best at 10 in all regards imho

Bah that ecsd looked the part but sure didnt smell it! I ran too many strains out of boredom and boy did it cost me. From now on far less experimenting will go on. Killing life haha i chuckled out loud. Col? As for nutes i run a lot of stuff. With og they just seem to love it all. I run aqua flakes from h and g for base. I also run their roots excel, bud xl, and top booster. I also run bud candy, nirvana(advanced nutes) and budswel from the guano co. I run moab for a hardener last two weeks. I also run sos from strata. Sos replaces the effects of drip clean while adding amazing microbes. I run a lot of boosters clearly(probably too many) but i keep my ec pretty low. As a list that looks like a lot but they all are run at diff times and my ec never exceeds 1.4 in dwc. In flood and drain ill go as high s 2.0 because theyre hit way less often.

I like to keep ec around 1.0 for the most part. I kick it up around week 4-6 then bring it back down. 8th week no base just boosters. Week 9 nothing but ro @ 6.2ph. I exchange the water a lot too as the salts leach out that last week. By the end its super clean and they catch a nice fade.

interesting, I've really wanted to go organic + bennie but been doing flora nova ,zone (sterile) silica, add.27, kool bloom weeks 3-6, sterile as I've had root rot from using hygrozyme in the past. I use raw organic agave nectar as a sweetener weeks 3-chop. I'm trying to be more conscious about what I produce beyond just potency/appeal/yield. you run close to twice the ppm that I run believe it or not, these days I usually peak at around 700 ppm believe it or not.

since you go bennie route have you looked into ewc/compost tea as a way of supplementing your microbial life etc? ever tried fungi/myco? thanks for sharing your experiences. I personally would like to try a 600w or so with an organic+bennie route this fall when things cool down a bit

So, after contemplating which route to go to use my final light i decided to add a dwc that DOESNT drain ever. i used a 2x4 with 4 plants and set up a tiny version of my 4 x 8. Been weaving through the trellis and for the limited canopy space and crowdedness im quite pleased. All Tahoe OG:

The non draining DWC with the tahoes is kicking ass. Not sure if draining my big one at night is smart or stupid. I just filled up the 4x8 draining DWC about a week ago. Tied everything down and weaved em hard. Ive never implemented this method correctly from the start so im super excited to see what comes of this. I vegged the plants for like 6 weeks. Huge Fire OG plants(4) and Bushy ass Buddha Cheese plants (11). 15 plants across a 4x8 is by far my lowest plant count per light ever. Within 3 days the canopy was already full. Im stoked. Also, within 2-3 weeks i will be filling the F&D 4x8 as well. Only running Og, Buddha Cheese and Amnesia Haze. They made all those other cuts look silly. A word of wisdom from selfish efforts, if you have sick ass genetics and you get bored, don't bite off more cuts than you can chew. I found myself very disappointed and financially set back hard because of my attempts to investigate a lot of different cuts. Every strain other than Tahoe and GDP was a waste of time and electric and nutes. I liked the Tahoe but its still getting scrapped. GDP, now that one i decided to take a cut and keep on the back burner just because if vegged long enough(slowest veg growth ive ever encountered) i know she can yield like crazy. The fire OG(Which i already had) has been yielding better and has more flavor and smell than Tahoe. So basically, all the cuts i tested, ended up getting scrapped other than GDP which i don't plan on mainlining at all :/ From now on i will only test one strain, one plant at a time.

Day 5 Flowering

Day 5 Flowering

So heres the new DWC with the 15 plants. Im stoked to see how the weaving works out. First photo is a shot of the 4 og plants(fire) and the next one is Buddha Cheese, 11 of em.

4 x 8 (15 plants)

4 x 8 (15 plants)

9 days in and the canopy is full. This weaving method is kicking ass. Keeps the og down hard i LOVE that. Not sure if i should continue to tie them down another week and half though it seems like that will crowd things too much. Im debating letting them all come up now and just adding another net like im used to. Anyone have an opinion?

Thank you sir. It is a decent yield but not what i was hoping for. The space was very restricted. Looks like about 20 oz. im used to at least 24 :/
