First Micro Grow 92W CFL

Hello everyone, new to icmag. Hope i can grow some dank cannabis amigos

Cabinet Specs

Grow space

• 16"L x 12"W x 24"H

Lighting

• 3 23w 2700k / 1 23w 6700k CFLs 6400 total lumen

Ventilation

• 4" passive intake ( had a 120mm pc fan but i wired to much power to it and burnt it up in the first 48 hrs of the box operating )
• 120mm PC fan exhaust
• going to order a smaller pc fan for interior ventilation

Container

• 4x 1L round containers

Medium

• Fox Farms Ocean Forest

Nutes

• Fox Farms Soil nutes
• plan to order bush doctor to flush every 3 wks

Its a pretty simple set up. temps are stable 70/78 with humidity 45/52%. I plan to get a ona block for odor control but i also have a diy filter for backup. I would love to grow my fem. beans but i really want to use them as mums and get a perpetual harvest going. I plan to build a pc case to house 2 bonsai mums but til then i have a ton of bagseed to have fun with. Just going to do bagseed 12/12 from seed til i get my mum case built

Sounds great! May I ask what you will be using for reflection for the cfls?

If you're going to position your CFL's horizontally, i suggest using a soda can cut in half like the below pictures illustrate. Works like a charm You might want to use a Monster Energy can rather than a soda can for those 92 watts bulbs though because they'll be a lot bigger than the 42watters.

You can make it with or without wings. Like so

right now theres nothing above the lights but mylar

that's a awesome idea thanks. i definitely need something there. ill try that out. you might get some more reflection if you painted them white

im happy to share my thoughts, i plan to write a advanced guide to micro growing i still have alot more research to do though.

forgot to mention nirvana white widow on its 2nd week of veg. started in coco pellet transplanted after stretch to 1 gal container in ffoc. buried her up to the neck shes only 3 inches tall with 3 true sets already. i may start 12/12 today. i was waiting for her to stretch a bit

what do you guys think, flower now or give it a week?
