Looking For Some China Girls.

This girl in the back corner is starting to get some nice colors on her. Actually most of them have some purple tinges to the calyx's, this girl in the back is also getting the dark coloring on the leaves.

Well there will be no problems with yield on these four girls. I still have clone #6 that I haven't flowered yet. I was waiting to see if these four impressed me enough to flower the final girl.

#6 will be flowered.:biggrin:

I'm glad, these other phenos filled out for ya... and that you are going to flower that other pheno... imagine if it turns out to be the best one!

I can't wait to here what patients out there in michigan think of the china syndrome

Nice photos again Third Coast. :)

I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but, how do these smell? Are you smelling any strong LIME?

I want a lime smelling plant and I would rather narrow down the candidates.

Probably not to the extent that you're looking for. There are hints at this point.

I think you need to ask yourself though, do you want a plant that smells like lime while it flowers or do you want a plant that smells and possibly tastes like lime when dried and cured.

Two very different things. One does not necessarily translate to the other.

I used to have a trainwreck bubba cross that was the most skunky, poopy, extreme lime smelling plant ever so it will take a bit for me to say something smells like lime. When it is there it is in-mistakable, I guess these aren't there yet.

However, I would still recommend these if they are available.

Thanks Thirdcoast.

I have tried Chernobyl before and 2 plants both smelled like lime bubblegum/ candy, definitely lime.
But like you said, only one of them kept the flavour after drying.

I was just trying to decide if I should get some more Chernobyl or try these China Syndrome or Sour Bubble....

Seeing as I have tried Chernobyl before and did really like the lime-ness, I might try it again.

Thanks. They are beautiful plants. But LIME-ness is what I want, and I know Chernobyl has 'some' very LIME-ey plants. :)

just to try and help... from my experience with TGA gear,

in Subcool's gear, there are very excellent plants to be found that can range from super tasty and pleasant to very potent and medicinal but RARELY a combination of both... usually it is 1 plant from 5 females that's either one or the other... if you want good odds of finding something that taste like limes, has the looks, smell, pleasant feeling and potent medicinal effects be prepared to buy 4-5 packs otherwise you are more than likely to get plants that display various combos of only two or three of those traits... as is with MOST strains.

and third is right, these aren't available at the moment... they sold out real fast... I am working the line though.

So I have 2 purple tinted SB phenos, those are what I mostly post pics of and I also have 2 Chernobyl phenos that are green.

I'm pitching the Chernobyl phenos just cause they don't look like they will be an easy trim.

Going to keep the 2 SB phenos and choose one to keep after a smoke test. I'm pretty sure which one will be my keeper at this point but maybe I'll be surprised.

The one I'm thinking is my keeper of coarse gets the most pics taken lol.

Oh yeah, one Chernobyl pheno is minty and the other is very limey at this point.

The SB phenos both lean to the grape bubblegum side of things.

I'll start backing of the nutes pretty soon here as I'm guessing they will come down in about two more weeks. Maybe only 7-10 days on a couple.

Plenty of cloudy trichs at this point.:woohoo:

you should post some pics of the two dark ones in the free your bud shots/your frostiest bud threads... I think the people there would get a kick out of them.

they all look awesome to me, that black/purple definitely sets off a great contrast with the frost though, If I wasn't lurking around the round table from time to time I would have no Idea you were having issues with your meter... I can only imagine what your room is going to be like once you get it fully dialed in and automated.

can't wait to hear a smoke report... especially interested to hear how those dark ones end up smelling and tasting once fully dried!
