Why is everyone posting pics of their grows on your thread though. come on guys make your own and put a link up, but don't rain on his parade. especially when there's no comparison to don juans setup

Not the right way to think my man! No one is raining on anyone's Parade! Don knows his shit and is spreading the knowledge, im sure it makes him feel good to know him shedding light is making gardens greener!

For instance, Ghettogro's journal opened up a new horizon for me, planted a seed in my head, and i have been posting in his journal to see what he has helped me with...

i was thinking the same thing capfan. to me seeing all these people trying something new and succeeding would bring a smile to my face and also show others that this method is sound and easy to use. my shit is doing great and i love the new setup thanks to DJM

How do u think 2 gal smart pots in a sog would work with this medium 50/50 absorbent/ repellent? I think would help to dry the pots out faster allowing more waterings which would increase oxygen in the root zone. Best of both worłds. Read all 18 pages great thread Don, mad props.

20 per light.

we have friends that all run 8inch pots, 9 plants per light. Cropped to 4-6 branches per plant. Watered every morning....guys are pulling 2lbs plus out per light on their first time....

they use the croutons....

Yo what strains have u ran? I've been rocking Dynamites style for over two years. It's great, explosive growth for sure. However dumping out and prepping the rockwool is a pain in the ass. Makes my house super dirty no matter how hard i try tp keep clean and paying for new rockwool round after round adds up. So I switched to canna coco with canna nutes with co2. Can't say it's better growth honestly but reusing my coco for a year, not having to move, empty, dump, 48 10 gallon pots and save money works for me. Everything else from cloning , vegging under t5s for 6 weeks, super cropping and topping, I learned from Dynamite. Wondering what your best per light pull was for a real low yielding og? You know the tall lanky spindly bitches? I'm working with real nice og but I can't crack 1.5 per. Btw, I do 4 plants per light, 10 gallon pots, tomato cages, drip rings, Dtw. Thanks for any info or advice.

Don..... as far as feeding.... same as my coco... just not as frequent? .... lower ph....5.2-5.5..... i know to let pot dry out...cover tops of pots..... i'm using gh 2 part.... i have calmag...using it if necessary....
Anything else you could tell a first time bulk grower...... i've read this thread several times.... so if it's all here.... i've read it.... thanks again ..... :tiphat:

Some things ive learned my first go around...

Don't overwater....LET IT DRY OUT!

Have a plan on how you are going to hold the damn things up. The buds get so big ive walked into branches on the floor.....

Using GH you are going to get salt build up...I tested the runoff on my pots 3 weeks into Flowering and it was 2500ppm! lol Plants just kept kicking ass though...no lockout, no burn. Flushed it back down to 1200 though.

Ive got a GSC that will yield a lb easily! GSC 20 gallon...at least a lb!

LONG LIVE THE GREAT DON JUAN!!!!!!!!

CB/Freedom 13......WTF......

No "chickenwire" stapled to the ceilings to tie heavy ass lateral branches up AND out to open up the plants for better airflow as well as lumen penetration/plant absorption ?.......I`m just sayin........

That`s 1 of the FIRST rules in the "Gospel of Krusty" , and I`ve preached it for yrs and yrs although many read , but not many take heed......and hey....

Gladta see another buckethead back around , as well as praisin the SOOOO worthy DJM for his awesome perpetual big plant setup FTW......

Maybe you`re runnin reflectors now instead of bare bulbs , but that chikenwire is yo friend my buddy regardless....

Peace.....DHF.....:ying:.......

haha! You've got a point man!

heres a pic for ya....still rockin the green tape!

Don't worry bout the bottom leaves on this one...too many PBRs one night and poured 2.5 gallons of straight PureBlend Pro thru her....:comfort: yes im an idiot. Shes still got a good 5 weeks left!
