KG's master plan.

If i had seeds of Pineapple Express i could send you NKOTS i would, but i got this strain in clone form only. So unfortunately that's not gonna happen sorry:(

I will give what you said a go. The side shots of the PK and BW seem to come out O.K. It must just be the fact the P.E is really bushy compared to the PK and BW. The pictures are deceiving and make the P.E look a lot smaller than she really is. Another factor to consider is that my camera is only 3.3 megapixels haha! Most phones have a better camera than my Digital camera. It's 10 years old:p. I'll snap some shots of the P.E that i have in soil the way you recommended to see if we can get a clearer picture.

Thanks for sharing with us KG - lovely looking plants :tiphat:

I am especially keen to hear what you have to say about the PE since this is one of the strains on my (not so) shortlist for the future.

I also love the Suitcase grow idea - I actually have several empty suitcases that I have been eyeing up for a while, with the same idea as you... not put that particular plan into action yet tho.

Anyway keep up the good work, and good luck in your ongoing battle - I actually have a similar dilemma myself involving some spider mites and some late-flower girls that I don't want to spray so close to harvest - it's actually not too bad, but it does stop me running anything else through my fridge until they are chopped and the fridge cleaned/blitzed.

Peace

Thanks for the kind words Twist!

I think that you'll be more than happy with how pineapple express performs for ya. The suitcase grow is a lot of fun! but the firehazard of it all freaks me out a bit and has me thinking about the "what ifs" all day long:-/....

Spider mites are a BITCH! That sucks bad that they've halted any progress in your fridge. BTW do you have a grow log on here anywhere? I usually don't travel much further than the microforums/grow forums and haven't been able to find any threads made by you?. I'd love to see what you got going in that fridge of yours! I'll see what your albums have in store for me and get back to you:)

Pics of the Pineaple Express in soil later on!

Hey KG

Yeah I have sprayed the Spider mites (with dish-soap and alcohol in water) earlier on in the saga, and it did seem to slow them down a bit - the problem is that the fridge has been running on a kinda perpetual schedule, so it has made it much more complicated - I do not want to spray the plants in late flower, so I could never totally get rid of the little buggers. But TBH it has not been too bad; they have never really gotten out of control - there's just a few on the underside of the big fan leaves, but most of the sugar leaves are untouched. No doubt it will have affected my yields, but since I am still improving my skills with every plant, I am still yielding more than I was before with every plant :)

Regrettably I have not started my grow thread yet - I am super keen to make one, but I just need to get all my gear together a bit better - I am searching for a wardrobe to house my new 150w HPS, and as soon as that is sourced I will start my thread. Until then I have 3 plants left in my CFL mini-fridge... just waiting for them to finish so I can clean it all out and start again in about 2 weeks. Aside from that I have a couple of small boxes for vegging, running single vert CFLs (super-efficient) which are full of seedlings/clones, and six plants that are currently on my balcony basking in the beautiful sunshine

I will let u know when I start my thread buddy, and I would be stoked if you would pass your eye over it and let me know what u think.

Peace :rasta:

p.s. I doubt I will ever actually put the suitcase into action... I feel the same about the safety aspects as you do. Whilst I search for my new cab; I have actually run the 150w HPS a couple of days in a makeshift setup in a cardboard box, and that scares the crap out of me. Suffice to say I will not be doing that again.

LTTG, Thanks man.

Here's some Pictures of my Power Kush and Black Widow which are currently @ 3 weeks and 3 days flower.

Them gals are stackin KG! Quick question, do those PE's root quickly (If u had the chance to clone em...)? I saw a guy on Instagram claiming roots showing out the Oasis cube in 4 days :jawdrop: ... Me wants that pheno!

In the post above you can see the Power Kush in the last photo with some nute burn. The tips of the bud leaf are burning from too many nutrients. Will lay off the nutrients for her. The Black Widow in the 3rd picture of the above post doesn't show any signs of nute burn and is getting fed the same solution. So i think that is fair evidence that indica dom. phenos definitly require more nutrients than the sativa doms. I will feed these girls from a seperate solution from now on.

Damn KG - It's hard to believe they look like that at just 3weeks and 3days!!! Outstanding man :tiphat:

Neeks, thanks for the comment.:thank you:

To answer your question, they don't clone super fast but not super slow either. I am having some really cold temps at moment, and manage to get roots within 7-10 days. For me the time to root doesn't really vary between strains, they all take the same amount of time(7-10 days). It's the success rate that vary's, but i haven't cloned enough P.E to be able to judge the success rate accurately. So far i've had 100% success rate with the P.E but i've only taken 5 clones total. I have heard of certain strains cloning a lot faster than others though, but i haven't experienced this myself.

LTTG, Thanks again ;)! And i can't wait for you to upload some pics either! I especially like watching the threads which have plants around the same time in flowering as mine do. So hope you get some pics up soon sister!

SF, :tiphat:Cheers to that mate!

RS, Thanks for droppin by my thread:biggrin: appreciate the comments.

Twist, I agree 100%!! I've never had strains flower this intensely by week 3. Usually week 4-5 they'd be a this point. The P.E are a fair way behind the P.K and B.W but they're definitly catching up fast. Growth has picked up a lot in the P.E this past week.

I shall get some photos taken of the P.E tonight for you guys.

I've edited it. Hah! sorry i completely forgot that i saw you already say this in another thread. There's not a lot of words like Bro and man that you can use on a women without it sounding weird:p.

Hehehe... not offended or anything. I think it's funny. Chick, chica, sis, miss, lovely lady, gorgeous (okay, maybe not that last one. Hahaha!) whatever... it's fine :D

"Sister"... I am a woman. Once I am actually able to create a signature, I think I am going to put that in there. LOL!

hi, gorgeous  ;)

by that time you can use an avatar image to make it clear to everyone who you are. just like i did

peace, sis :smoke:

kiwi your colas get covered with sweet sweet sugar like cazy. this will essentially be a ton of trich harvest in another couple of weeks! :good:

LTTG, Thanks bub;)

NKOTS, haha! that's not a bad idea about the Display Pic! Thanks for the comment, i really hope they pull through from the treatment of the Root Aphids. The spray is potent even though it is organic(neem tree oil). They are getting another treatment of it tonight, it will probably be the last one. The buds are getting way too dense to be soaking in Neem tree oil. I will maybe hit them with one more root drench of the neem oil solution after tonights root drench and foliar and then flush for 2 weeks before harvest. Like i said earlier, there is no getting rid of the Winged Root Aphid, only damage control.

Stick around folks, i'll have some more pics up soon of the P.E:)

Here's a picture of all the girls sittin in my shower after a good root drench and foliar spray with Neem tree oil. Power Kush and Black widow in the back and Both P.E in the front. P.E are bushing up nicely although didn't stretch as much as i would have liked.
