Alright I did word that kind of shitty... but what I meant is NO ONE BESIDES the creator... no cuts have ever been gifted, or so they say...

I don't care just saying there is no way in hell BCBD has the "REAL" "THIN MINT"

They said they used the forum cut... but they are liars anyway.

you are completely right. no one will know until they are grown out... but I am not taking the chance... and I think everyone else seems to pretty much be thinking the same way...

I think i have seen a total of 5 GSC seed grows so far... that is combining CC and BCBD... no one wants to waste the space on these shady companies....

(according to an article I read about the top 10 seed companies) and have steller genetics like the Purps. Amazing Strain!
I gave the Purps a shot and wasnt disappointed at all. The God Bud

Im not gonna order the GSC because of the yield issue but Ide order "The Big" and "Purps" anyday. Through the Tude of course.
CC's Buddha Tahoe OG was just ok. Im growing a CC feminized Pre-98BK right now so we'll see if that plant sucks or not. 1 bean so its kinda not a fair shot. But a bean from CC is a bean from CC, no matter how you slice it, so I'll keep the plant out there for all to see how it did.
Ive never smoked a Pre-98 Bubba Kush before, so I wont be able to compare it to another, but Ill def know if its dank or not.

those pictures look more like forum cut instead of the real deal thin mint. real thin mint has longer spearshaped denser colas. the forum will have those smaller rounder ones with lots of purple tint. dispensaries rename shit all day especially greendoor, they will call forum the platinum and fortunes some made up shit like "cinnamon cookies".....if you are just buying the nugs and showing them off thats fine but many people here actually grow the strains and know what they are talking about.

also BCBD is all FAKES and dont take a word they say seriously. they are FAKES and THIEVES. they may have bought forum cut somewhere but their males are garbage, they deal with mass seed service and i doubt any of their gear is actually legit.

and the thin mint phenotype that the cookiefam runs is definetly a unique one with more conical full colas... really beefy looking.... assuming they have been bx ing they have several cuts... i mean each time they make a bx round im sure they pop beans to test... offering the chance to see even more worthy phenos...

the eagle scout hybrid is made using a thin mint variety phenotype as the mother... i doubt its their cut atm.. but most likely an earlier pheno...

this is all just my opinion so .... still interesting nonetheless

I tried the same thin mint gsc from green door and I have to say I was very unimpressed. The appearance and smell are great, but the flavor and smoke profile are very lacking. I still have not found connoisseur herb from a dispensary yet, call me crazy.

I have five mothers going of cc gsc. Some clones are rooted and vegging waiting to be flipped on Friday. So we're gonna find out real soon what's up with these cookies.
Now I wanna talk about the forum being an s1. Too me it makes perfect sense. In my experience growing s1's from accidents in my grow, the nugs are always smaller than the original. This is just my 2 cents from what I've grown out. The frost might be a little more, and the taste is still dead on. The thing is, is that ego's in this game are huge. So I always will give any seeds a shot to prove themselves no matter how douchy the breeder/company may be. It only takes one seed to make a plant that others will eventually call an elite. So........ If you have hate in your heart, let it out. My line of haters is long and to the left......

If someone can come on here and give an accurate story of where the Forum cut came from...then I'll be open to stories on lineage. Two or three people know where the forum cut came from. The rest of it is all telephone.

I'd love to see a cup between all the supposed cuts. At the end of the day I'd take the best grown sample of most any of the cuts we've seen. Nothing that I've seen at the clubs has been up to par.

some one passed some fake cookies off on me the other day. Good herb though, so no biggie, just no way it was close too cookies.

That looks really, really good.
Maybe some day, when Massachusetts opens up some dispenceries and I get my first legal MMJ compassion card....and if they have it in stock.
Otherwise...if I want to try it...Ide HAVE TO order it from BCBD via the Tude, and grow it out myself. Sorry if you all are blessed more than some of us, but BCBD is my only option whether there reputation sucks or not.
Unless someone wants to travel to Mass and smoke a brother out? If not.....dont hate on genetics from BCBD. Atleast there making it available!!!! Do you know any other seed bank that has them available?
