Kelway probably makes the best meters for this stuff. Still...not sure if they are totally reliable. You can take a core sample type of deal, mix 50% dirt and 50% distilled water...shake the fuck out of it and measure the pH of the water with good pH meter or test strips or liquid. That will be reliable. does not adress moisture though.

Must have something to do with Veg`s holier than thou attitude and ego........but I digress......

Veg and I have had it out a couple times, and yes during those conversations he was a dick. However, it's hard to know more than everybody, then act like you don't. When you know your shit, you know your shit. Veg is one of the best gardeners on this site, so I suggest when he talks, listen. If you can't handle a couple harsh words, then grab your skirt and leave. (not you personally DHF) Veg teaches me at least one thing new every year, and I am a better gardener for it. Same could be said with most great growers on this site.

Anyways, on a scale from 1-10, the weather this year has been a solid 8 for me so far. Hope it continues through Oct.

Really? I see more gardeners going large. Those same gardeners are bringing their experiences back to the boards so we can all learn. What do you miss? I have been here since the start of this thread, and I enjoy the evolution. The only exception I can think of is Tom doesn't post as much any more.

Amazing. The weather has been 10 times better than last year. Last year I only had 3-5 days break 80 degrees, and never got a chance to use my Calcuim25. I am much happier with my genetics this year also. GanjaRebelSeeds are serious when it comes to breeding, and I am reaping the rewards. I wasn't trying to grow monsters this year, more concentrating on quality. However I did get a monster or two. I have also been trying to use foliar sprays as my main feed for my plants, thanks to VEG for the heads up on that. (and others) The results have been fantastic, no serious bug damage and my brix levels have been in the twenties. Here is a pic or two, and feel free to check my thread for more information. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=262017

Guys.....I didn`t come here to start shit , >>>>>>>(EDITED/no speculating on members private info)<<<<<<<<<< , and proof`s in da puddin as far as how to talk to people that question his VERY limited growing experience.....and hey....

I`ve got nothing but respect for Veg`s knowledge on organic/water only mix that produces big plants , but there`s no excuse to talk down to folks cuz yas can grow a decent size dope cultivar......after all....

Sharing knowledge AND experience is what this shit is all about , and NOT talkin down to folks you feel are beneath you when they question your motives in a totally innocent question based forum.....regardless....

Veg`s people skills are at best "immature" and seriously lacking and it SO shines through......When he gets my age and has waded through the bullshit for 30+ yrs of croppin inside and out, he MIGHT not be so ego motivated and then.....

Hopefully he`ll try and show the younger folks howta NOT make the mistakes he made over the yrs , like how to treat folks regardless of whether he likes the questions or not......anyways....

Sorry for the intrusion into an awesome thread that NEEDS to continue regardless , so ya`ll handle it and I`ll be on my bucket watchin and droolin.....and hey.....

Fisher 15`s my pick for the up and comer in medville although ALL you guys are awesome in my book.....Good luck and here`s hopin for big harveys across the board for all of yas.....

Peace....DHF.....:ying:.....

DHF the 4 pages of missing posts have nothing to do with me, you're not a mod and cant read the deleted ones...quit lying..the ghost pages are 4 out of 500 plus pages that have been removed over the 3 years we have kept this thing going. This is the best thread on IC. We self moderate here, as you noticed you tried to stir shit and were shut down by multiple contributors.

Why dont you head off back to the vert forum where people believe your BS..the difference between the big plant people and you is we are all actually growing plants.

I know the real reason you dislike me is I have proved you to be full of it through my experience time and time again.

You can clearly see no one agrees with your perspective...

So now that youve had your bucket kicked out from under you, can you please leave? Thanks.

Go BIG OR GO HOME just my thought. I have the room so why not? I would rather get 2+ units per plant on 40 plants than 1/3 as much indoors just my preference right or wrong who cares its my preference.

hey I cant see who left me the message but you are right I did have some pathogen issues. the browness on the trunk is from the tanglefoot and wound dressing. there is a HUGE break in the top Y to the left of my thumb. I have a couple of plants that just broke themselves growing too fast through the cage. I lost probably 4 branches in the garden to the pathogens. gave em the second treatment Wednesday, cant remember the name of the product, but I will definitely use it in the beginning next year. lots of things I need to be writing down for next season...its never perfect dangit!!

Hey that was me, if you look you can see the fiber of the stalk is brown, you want it to be white. Check out Dr. Farwells seal and heal, it's a lot better stuff IME, the products from verdera help out a lot. Best of luck, things don't start to go south until they try to flower because thats when they work hardest..get a bunch of mycostop on em asap.

Whats the diameter of an 800?

Anyone use Mycostop as a foliar into flowering? Serenade and Actinovate are other products marketed for the same purpose. I can say that Actinovate seemed to greatly reduce botrytis infection in my flowers last year (applied from a sprayer every 5-7 days to cover new bract tissue). Haven't tried Serenade because the of the smell. If Mycostop is as effective as many of you show it to be as a soil drench I may try it this year as a foliar on half the plot. The product instructions include botrytis as a target...
