Just did a test plant when I got home. I went from 2.5 hours a plant to 45 min!!!! I think I save 30 min with medicalmj trim advice. And saved about another 30 min with the trimmer. The trimpro actually does a half decent job. I went and bent the fingers in the middle a few times back and forth to soften them up and that seemed to keep the buds from getting smashed down. With a second person I think I could really hall ass but now the remaining plants don't seem so teadous!!!

Thanks medicalmj for the advice!!! That trick worked awesome. I was probably spending 5 min a bud. Now I'm under a minute and to tell u the truth I do t think they look much different!!

Thanks guys. All day yesterday 12+ hours and 4 hours this morning, 6 hours of help from a buddy and I had 10 plants done!!! after getting the trimmer and new pruning technique I put in a solid 7 hours and got 8 done by myself!!!!

Hoping a solid 14 hour day tomorrow will get this wrapped up!!!

Most plants have been averaging right around 500 wet grams all trimmed up.

I hate weighing shit til its done done numbers are always off,,, but then again the helper does have sticky finger and a slight down syndrome look to him when I show up unexpectedly

Oh nice you got the trimpro. You will probably speed up even more as you get more experience. I just take the plant, clip off all the buds into a big bowl, remove the fan leaves still there by hand. Then do maybe a quarter of the buds at a time through the trimmer.

Two guys, one preparing buds for the trimmer, and the other running the trimmer. You can really move.

I take wet weights, just to compare areas in my grow. 500grams wet can end up being anywhere from 80-120 dry

Ya those wet weights are buds trimmed, no stems and on the screen drying. Be interesting to see how much water loss there is from these buds. My last grow was right at 75% water loss. Though the buds were much smaller.

Once everything is dried and bagged I will post up some number. Should have results in 4-5 days. Had a sample tonight. Accidentally snapped off a bud a couple weeks ago and decided to try it out. Gotta say. I really enjoyed it. No coughing, smooth smoke that burned nice. And just a straight up feel good got the giggles high. It's a keeper!!!

You know if there's one there one thing I hate, it's when I run out of drying space for the overload of buds I've just grown .

soo between work and the fact that my drying room is between 75-80 I'm pretty sure my first batch of bud is a little on the dry side. Any good tricks for adding back some moisture to the bud?

Should I place that bud back into a garbage bag and put a potato slice in there?? If so how long do I do that for? Thanks guys!!

Those lil "humi discs" for cigar humidors will help LED , but once they`re past the point of no return well below 62% , there IS no magic cure to rehydrate nugs without affecting taste and smell profiles.....bet on it.....anyways....

Put it in a paper bag and spray the outside of the paper bag with water. That will rehydrate them. You gotta get an a/c or something and get that room down to 68-70 degrees along with a dehu set at 60-65

All hope might not be lost. There is probably more moisture than you think contained in those stems and inside the buds when dried so fast. Should soften a bit if you jar them.

My room is set to 50-55 rh. Should I raise it? How long should I leave them in the paper bag? Thanks bud.
