Thought I'd give a quick update. The plants are growing nicely. The 2 smaller plants are a bit rootbound and show some yellowing. I can say that the lamp can certainly grow some bud and I can't wait till I get the real test run going with the CDSD and Casey Jones I'm currently vegging.

Here's some photos.

Good news - I've got some harvest pics.

This is the biggest of the bunch because it was in the biggest container. I don't really know what to comment on the yield though... I guess I was expecting a little more but then again it was an autoflower, my canopy was a mess and I really needed to get to know the lamp too - i guess this is what test runs are for! I kept this lady a little bit too far from the light for nearly the entire cycle. Looks to be around 20g / 3/4oz (the fully trimmed bud is not pictured), time will tell. I also snagged off a test branch a week ago. The smoke is pretty pleasant. A good mix of head-body high and doesn't leave you tired afterwards. The mindset is retouched in a good way, thoughts fly - definitely not a stupifying high. Hints of rosemary and mint and chemical rot are present. Still very fresh to see what will come of it though. I also got a lot of sugar trim compared to the size of the plant. I guess this may have to do with the spectrum.

Enough of my ramblings, here's the evidence:

I can at least say with relief that this light can grow some frosty and aromatic bud. However to maximize on the yield, the canopy has to be really well maintained and I'm pretty sure that will be the main focus on my further attempts. Next run will have to be a 0,4x1,2m SCROG. I'm sure one could easily pull 100g+, especially in hydro.

Let's see what the future brings.

What happened

What happened

I know this thread is a little dead, but what happened to these lights. I'm searching for them on the internet and looking for more information on the threads. It seems they must of gone belly up?

Ya, I'm starting to think the EVO was all hype. We have a little saying here in the south: Cream always rises to the top!

evo starline, I believe it what it's called.

they had a great thing going, maybe still do, but I'm not going to participate any longer with them.... oh well, I ended up learning how to make something better, so sometimes bad things are good

the design and idea was very good, just the follow through / people behind the product were the down points.

the used simple setup / intensity adjustable / quality parts ( cree / meanwell ) / nice design / great chip layout / ahead of it's time color spectrum choice ....

it's just they were too stoned / lazy / stupid...

they were what they were, they needed more power / fan on the unit, but other then that, I would say , even though I had HORRIBLE experiences, but I will speak honest, it was a great LED for the time it came out.

my opinions

I'm quite satisfied with my EVO90. Luckily I was not one of those affected by some weird dimming problems on some clusters of LEDs though.

They were pretty overhyped though, especially in terms of the quantity they produced. But then again I only use 1 EVO not 6 like mr X was using. The quality it produces is much nicer than an HPS in my opinion though.

I will just drop a few examples of what I achieved with 1 EVO90 (70W) and 2x54W T5.

The light is now over a year old and still performs. Could I be happier with another light? Sure, I guess. This is my first and only LED panel so it's hard to give meaningful opinion, but it sure seems to produce some sticky-icky nuggets even if the yield is lacking a little.

Those are some pretty pictures man. Thank you for the update! There isn't anything to get mad about with those results. It's all about quality.
