Reveging males

I have some males that I found because I was sexing a bunch of reg seed plants. They were less than two weeks in and just started to make flowers. I wanna save two of them. I put then back in the mother room. Which is at 18hrs of light, 6 of dark. Are they gonna revert back to veg or just continue to flower? I do have some clones taken , but they might not make it. Hence the reason I wanna reveg them. I got lazy and didn't lift the dome on the cuts for a couple days and mold developed and got a bunch of them. (Way to go stupid-I know)

you should be fine to Reveg them... if you need to cut off the tops where they started making flowers... repot in some soil with lots of N available...

I have never been able to reveg a male... it seems the flowering hormone is to strong in males... once you get him started he does not stop until he completes his objective... or at least in my experience.

I have even taken cuttings and they would be in a state of perpetual flowering... it could be possible... I just haven't had any luck

It is possible, but I have found it mostly dependent on how long you let the male put out pollen for (ie how far into anthesis).. I have found once too far and most of the anthers are open it is too late, but even then I have got some to reverse.

I am wondering about this also. I have a small male kush clone I put into 12/12, then 8 days later, when it showed sex, I put it back under 18/6. Fed it some nitrogen, but it appears to be continuing its little party!

Thanks chillb. I got em. They turned back on their own. I had to cut pollen sacks a couple times, but they are fully back to veg now.

this is always the best case scenario... but sometimes folks just don't have the space or don't want to commit the space so they just keep everything perpetual and if they find something nice clone it at the last second... some people are amazing on here... cloning straight buds and revegging them... wtf?! thats just crazy.

Infi... what light schedule do you run for veg?

I did what Weird is talking and donated a ton of space to a CJxSB IX1 male and its clones. I found out it was a male by sticking a clone in a cup of water and throwing it in the flower chamber. sure enough balls popped out everywhere in due time... rooted the clone and threw it back in veg... still have it I think.. idk too many of the damn thing if you ask me. Why do you have clones of males? wtf am i thinking? thing stinks soo good though...
