I always thought most agreed the chem 91 was the best for personal smoke...but, it seems like most who have grown a few different chems agree that the chem 4 is the best? I have the 91 and love her. But now is the first I've heard about her being less frosty than the D or the 4. I understand that. I have a deadhead that is dripping with trichs but doesn't touch the chem high (ftr: I have a deadhead that does come closeish to the 91 high but with less frost). Its he complexity of the 91 taste and the soaring, creative sativa high that doesn't burn out which are the reasons that I love her. Would anyone say she is less potent? Is it a bag appeal thing even though the highs might be similar? I also thought she yielded way less? Am I wrong about that too? Thanks for the info!

^^Soon I will know. I have just acquired the Chemdawg 91, Already got the D, Sis and the ECSD. Gonna be super interesting to finally get to grow them all out.
(I'm thinking of crossing them altogether like JJ did ? maybe.)

Thanks Mac....I don't mess with too many clones (mold and pests), but ECSD is pretty much the other on my list. However, I haven't seen a clone with a dried product that temps me. Furthermore, I thought I got the ecsd from the source I got the 91 from but there was a mix up. Now, I'm stuck with the Grandpa Larry which I would have never chosen but I'm so glad to have it. It's good 8 week herb to impress people, especially the ladies, no matter whether they like kush or purps or indica or sativa.

But I know a person that has a legit chem 4 cut. They claim they like the 91 the most for personal smoke but this person also dabs all day ever day and might not have the best perception of anything other than taste concerning the dried flower. That same person has the two cuts of diesel this season so we'll see if that might be worthwhile as well. Unfortunately, that grower also has the worst strain, spider mites og. Well, Mack I can't wait to see the side by side and hear your favorite smoke result!

As far as crossing them together, DO IT! Its not so much about names these days because there are so many. It's about fresh, potent breeding stock to keep these terpenes and highs around indefinitely. Clones fade, but genetics don't have to...Do it!

Seeds are a great way of keeping strains going without having to have them in constant veg.
