4KW Blue Cheese, C99BX1, Sour Lifesaver - The sweet and sour trifecta!

Welcome to my newest flower garden, featuring my prized Blue Cheese cut (unknown true genetics aside from the obvious), Mosca's C99BX1, and BOG's Sour Lifesaver.

Starting this thread a bit late, but I suppose at least we're getting right into the action.

Quick details about my setup:

-10'x14' sealed room lined with Reflectix
-Sentinel PPM-4 controller, maintains 1200 ppms co2.
-4KW, digital with air cooled Ocho's
-24k BTU Daikin mini-split heat pump
-70 pint dehuey
-#5 SmartPots, with about 3.5-4 gal of medium
-Organic living soil, non-recycled, mostly "just add water mix," with light use of supplemental PBP Bloom and very minor use of anything else aside from pure RO water. Some top dressing also...
-Tomato cages to tame the beasts

Plants were vegged for roughly 8 weeks, kind of lost track actually.

Today they are on they're 31st day of flower, pics below are from day 30. Everything should be finishing in at under 56 days. I've chopped the Blue Cheese as soon as 52 days and as late as 56 days.

26 plants in the room total. 5 phenos of SLS and 7 phenos of C99BX1. The rest are Blue Cheese.

This is surely beginning to be one of my best runs in this particular setep. The aroma's in this room are an insane mixture of the sweet, pungent Pineapple smell coming from the Blue Cheese, the rotten fruity/pineapple/tropical smell of the C99, and the sour pungent funk coming from the SLS.

I will detail each pheno once I can move some plants around to get some better shots. These are just some various shots...

Any updates?

How did SLS compare to that Blue Cheese? Bog

Hey BOG! Thanks for dropping in.

Comparing your SLS to my Blue Cheese cut (unknown breeder) would be very hard to do, simply because they are very different from each other. The BC cut produces sweet pineapple spear shaped buds, the SLS is smelling like some sour candy FUNK with colas more dome-shaped. Only comparison is that they are both looking amazing and covered in resin.

I'm very impressed with SLS thus far, my 5 different phenos are fairly consistent, although I'm having trouble discerning which phenos are the Sour Bubble phenos vs the lifesaver phenos. Picking a keeper is going to be tough! Right now at day 37 there's one pheno that appears to be low yielding although very branchy, with some serious stank.... Lifesaver? Yesterday I "fingered" a cola and it was one of those "holy fuck!" moments. Indescribable piercing funk. Then another more indica looking, larger, less dome-shaped, less branchy, larger yielding.... Sour Bubble? Similar smelling as the other just not as pungent.

Lights just went off, but tomorrow I will take pics of each pheno, and if you could provide some insight I would be thoroughly stoked.

ATM I'm wondering why I waited so long to pop my BOG-cherry. Also have Sour Bubble vegging as well as a pack of Sour Boggle in the fridge.... thanks BOG!

The two strains can look similar but they are quite different.

The sour lifesaver has mostly lifesaver phenotypes but there is a SB type that yields less. That one is really special. Compare the branchier and smaller budded sls to a good SB and you will be hard pressed to choose which is better.

Please return later with your smoke reports Holdin! Thanks. Bog :)

There's a Blue Cheese cut that goes around the PNW that is supposed to be Blue Dream x Cheese, I think that is my cut, not 100% sure but it is very unique. What cut are you familiar with?

The small budded branchy pheno is the one that I have that is truly mouth watering. Stoked. Thanks for the info BOG.:thank you: I will keep this thread updated all the way through the first puff.

I chopped two of my SLS phenos at 51 days. So far I can say that SLS is right up there in the category of some of the finest cannabis I have grown. These two phenos remind me of Bubba Kush in a way... similar structure, very similar smell. Not that sour candy smell in these phenos, but a real mouthwatering aroma. I may end up running all 5 phenos again, as they are all displaying traits of very high grade herb. Yield may be an issue, but I can work with it. Very please with BOG genetics. Thank you, BOG.

Oh.... that's right... pics. I will have some up later. I am just so pleased I had to share. This may be the most consistently dank line I have seen from a 10 pack, with 5 ladies.

The rest of the garden will probably be coming down around 56 days. Some of the C99BX1 phenos are quite impressive, although 2 similar phenos are appearing to need a bit longer than 56 days. I'm looking for that euphoric C99 buzz, so I will likely take them before any or with a small amount of amber.

Pretty happy with this grow. Wish I'd documented it in further detail. My yield estimate is around 5lbs.... but we shall see.

Oh and I forgot to mention, the Blue Cheese is looking insane. I know not having pics in this post doesn't do justice, but I will share pics once lights are on.
