Another diary update;

Everything looking good at the mo, start of the 6th week of flowering - girls are stacking on the weight!
I think maybe a 9 to 91/2 week flowering for this run, due to the 'soft' flip to 12/12.





And the roots look real healthy too;


Res change today, same ratio of nutes/adds as last time.

FYI
I found two distinct pheno types. One a fairly pale green, large & robust plant that looks very male and shows vigorous veg growth. This one shows its female pre-flowers quite late, making you think its a male until she eventually shows.
The other pheno type is a finer, more slender looking plant with slimmer leaves and darker colour. Although smaller in stature, this is the one I chose to clone from as she shows her pre-flowers about 4-5 days sooner. I have grown both pheno types to harvest in soil and I also found the finer, darker one to be a stronger and better quality smoke.
The beauty of seeds is you never quite know what you're gonna get! Good luck finding a 'gem' & happy growing mate

Another quick update to the diary;
The ladies seem to be thriving. The room is still running hot, sometimes up to 29 but the res is rock steady @ 21 so the canopy respirates a lot to keep cool. I see this in the amount I have to top the res up each day.

Day 36 of flowering.

Hi Willyweed,
I don't have a 'set' date for the chop in my head. I'm gonna play this one by ear - or more accurately by sight. I've got a small microscope & I inspect them regularly now they've got some frost. More for fun at the moment but when I think they're ready for the chop, I'll be looking for about 50% of the trichs to have turned an amber colour. I might two-stage chop them, taking off the mature buds and leaving the undergrowth another week but I've got to get my head around the flushing & dark period at the end before I do it. I might have to chop it all in one go - depends on the timing of the next batch of clones. Gonna be a run of ICE (Nirvana), the two mothers for the clones are growing now.

Did some more work on my chimney today (when Dennis went out)!
I must finish it tomorrow and get the ducting in as this heat's only gonna get worse!

Yeah I'm pleased with progress so far and the trichs look good under the micro. Still 'gin' clear at the mo but I'm keeping my eyes on them!

The girls are getting fat & growing some nice colas. Strange smell at the moment, kinda funky!





And I finally got the fuckin' hole in the chimney done! Waiting for Dennis has become an art form!



It bloody killed me doing it & my back's fucked now but hey it's done!! Just have to switch some flexi ducting over tomorrow & move the A/C unit & it's done! Just soundproofing & tidying up to do and I can finally relax and just GROW!

It's not a smell to worry about, you know like mouldy or something. Its the aroma of the plants - kinda nasty smell, like dead sweaty bodies!
I'm putting molasses in so I hope the aroma improves.

I reckon 2-3 weeks tops. I'm hoping this heat hasn't held them back too much. I'm just gonna play it by eye. When they look ready - chop!
