Hey everyone,

First off I should have wrote an intro before posting all over the forum :p, but forgot all about it after reading all these amazing threads people have post, lots of great information, im overloaded lol.

Im new to growing this will be my first time, Im not growing to sell to me everyone should be able to grow this wonder plant. I could go on for days about all the other crap on the street like cigs and alcohol that have caused more problems.

So yeah, im new to growing, im looking to grow for medical reasons, For one my dad Has MS and has been taking pills for to many years now and I know its killing him, liver, kidneys all the above. I told him to try Weed but i think i need to show him more information on it. He jsut doesnt want to smoke it. I told him there are so many different ways, eat, vap, oils ect... This is why im growing for him and my mom had breast cancer but its gone so I want to be able to have a stash ready incase anything ever happens so maybe I can help cure it without meds or radiation.

Sorry about my little rant :).

I just bought some growing supplys this is what I have so far

Gorilla Tent 8x8 (reason I got it was for the IR protected top)
PowerSun Ballast 600w
Eye Hortilux 600w (new version)
Hydroponic System
Reflector
clone tent & clone supplys

The Next things i need
Fans
Carbon Filter
Dryer Tent
Ph meter
Humidity Meter
Nutrients

I think Thats it lol.

My Next Grow Im thinking of going towards LED lights :) im hearing great things about them now.

Also My Goal over all is to learn Botany, I want to produce the best quality Medical Plants out there, that can cure & treat all kinds of illnesses. One day id like to make a plant that only has CBD.

Im new to all this so i know it will take time and lots of it. With this form all i can do it Grow my knowledge to help become successful in my adventure.

Hey GF welcome im new here myself yea this place is full of knowledge i cruised around here for years before finally joining the fam. Sounds like your getting your stuff all together. Best of luck.

Welcome Gardenfather! I've done quite a bit of research on LED technology and lighting engineering in both architectural as well as horticultural disciplines.
Please feel free to pose any queries to me that you may and I will do my best to share my knowledge.

Thanks Buddy, I prob wont smoke it at all, Im really thinking of trying to produce some meds that will help with Cancer, MS, ect... So I might actually just make Oils, and maybe some pure CBD only. But who knows I might save a bud and use a Vap :p or get someone to test it for me :p. Im really more into this to save peoples lives ( like my parents :D ). Lots of medical problems. I would love to dedicate my time to this, everything and anything I can do and learn to help others im down for. Its just hard to do things when you dont have a medical lab or a medical background :p. Newbie just trying to do my own research. If i can save someones life then im doing something right :).
