Hi, i have just joined international cannagraphic. This is my first post on this forum and I am very happy that I have joined. I have seen posts on this forum regarding the use of cannabis oil for psoriasis. I think it was the user Shmalphy who had success with its application.

Unfortunately, I also have psoriasis, the guttate form of it. This summer i will be going to India for my treatment, i will not be using any pharmaceutical drugs, only natural substances such as THC/hash oil. I will be lying down in the sun also. My question is that who has success with its use and how fast is the healing process. I am covered with small dime shaped spots on my back, arms, chest, stomach legs, all over. Since cannabis is apoptotic and anti-inflammatory i am sure it will cure my psoriasis because psoriasis is a skin disorder where skin cells grow faster and immaturely. The psoriasis skin has a skin cycle of 10 days rather than regular skin which has 30 days, it is similar to cancer in a way. And cannabis kills cancer sells so maybe i can take a chance at using hash/cannabis oil and it triggers proper healing and production of my skin cells. If anyone has experience with this disease and has used cannabis or anything else natural for its treatment/cure please share your experience i am all ears.

:woohoo: :thank you:

there's a good chance you'll be succesful with cannabis treatment. you may see my posts in Shmalphy's thread and I wrote a Testimonial at www.hempembassy.net who supply me with tinctures.

I have the erythrodermic version of this disease and cannabis tinctures worked very well for me. E/psoriasis is EPISODIC (it comes and goes) and so I cannot tell for sure whether cannabis cured me or whether it was coincidental with a natural episodic remission.

by the way I understand psoriasis is an immune system disorder similar to some cancer in that T-cells malfunction.

anyway ... welcome to here and I hope Cannabis fixes yr spots!

Thank you for your reply, yes i have heard that using weak cannabis plants are the best, and India has a lot of weak weed plants.. Right now my psoriasis is not showing severe symptoms. It is currently under control my spots are not bumpy but flattened out because of the glycerine i apply. I cant wait to get it started. Although i wont be using tinctures i will use straight hash oil/ thc/cannabis oil. and then sitting out on my rooftop in the sun for some vitamin D. double whammy

India is were my parents are from, i have been to India 3 times, haven't gotten sick at all. only a change in water which causes diarrhea that lasts for a weak. I live in the northern part of India, in the Punjab. Thank you i will check out the lonely planet guides. I know alot of people get sick at India its because they eat outside at restaurants, and hotels, that food is not healthy at all, especially the meat there, good thing my family owns a chicken farm in India, and i will not be going out to eat at all, i know some people who caught typhoid and other illnesses.

Guttate

Hi and welcome to IC, I too have suffered from psoriasis for most of my life, although not really bad like some.
I once had a breakout of Guttate where my whole body was covered like you. I had just recently suffered a strep throat infection which caused the breakout, one of the most common causes, so the doctor said.
I was advised to take baths filled with dead sea salts, available from a pharmacy, it worked but I also used low dose steroid creams which I know you want to avoid and I don't blame you.
My advice is why you waiting to go to India, take as many baths as you can and add the salts and when you get there spend as much time as you can in the sun and sea, hope it works for you and good luck.:)

By the way does the hash oil get you high if you apply it to your skin?

the skin is the body's largest organ. it will absorb cannabis oil. for example it has been reported that cannabis annointed on one's penis will cause prolonged arousal! and a friend who secreted a lump of hash in her ear on a flight from holland to here was very stoned when she got off the plane!

but mostly I would like to respond to yr remark above about 'weak' cannabis ...

an ongoing issue with the medical use of cannabis is how to avoid patients becoming uncomfortably stoned. sativas generally cause a speedy stone and indica causes 'couch-lock'. neither of which are desirable in the long term ...

so here in Oz, Mullaway has a plant which is low-THC. it is non-psychotropic. when tested by the Authorities, including the Police labs, no THC was found.

this is the plant from which the tinctures which helped me were made.

seeds of this plant are available in Oz ... but if you cannot get this product it is important that whatever you end up using is 'picked white'. that is: BEFORE sunlight has ripened a variety of CBD's into the psychotropic THC. this change is marked by the white bits of the flower turning orange as the plant ripens.

it seems to me that if you are in India you may also like to check out Ayurvedic Medicine. there are very likely time honoured cures for Psoriasis to be found in this ancient Tradition.

cheers!

Yes, i just took my second epsom salt bath, i stayed in there for 30 minutes, and my psoriasis has changed, it has flattened out and reduced the redness. I am looking forward to continue with bath salts and when i get to india i will soak in the sun with some hash oil on me :). I wonder, eating cannabis in any way can also help my immune system to reduce the production of t-cells, i hope someone who has tried cannabis ingestion for psoriasis can share there input. Yes, i have been avoiding steroids for quite a while and i use glycerine soap, no shampoo as it stings my skin. Hopefully i will not have much work to do when i get to India. I am very happy that you have suggested the epsom salt baths. thank you. :thank you:

Hey there, I have no idea if hash oil will work but I really do hope it does for you! Please report back and let us all know how it goes...

Now the only thing I can say about your condition is what I saw on "channel 4 food hospital" I can obviously not vouche for how genuine it is but it seemed really good...

So there was this lad who wanted to be an air steward, he had it pretty bad all over his hands and didn't feel like he could pass passengers things cause they might be grossed out or something... H said he had been to the docs and had all the treatments but nothing worked for him!

So they put him on an ellimination diet, where you only eat a very select group of foods basically cutting out everything! You do that for some time and then see how it is, then if it goes you just add one food type and see how it is then... Then another and another etc...

It worked for him and cleared it up completely!

I am no doctor (not that I trust them anyway) but food ellimination diets can be a bit risky for obvious reasons, so please either see a doc about it or just read online about them and make sure you know exactly what you are doing before you do it!

If the cannabis oil doesn't work you could try and see... Hope this helps and I hope you get over the condition soon! Good luck :)

Yes, i have had guttate psoriasis since grade 8, i am now a highschool graduate and will be going to college in september. I wish to get rid of this before i enter college lol. I have a gutt feeling that cannabis might cure my disease along with sitting in the sun. I took out dairy products, meat and any processed junk foods, but i still enjoy a little bit of em sometimes when i bbq or watch a movie. I remember i started juicing beets, celery, apples in the morning and my psoriasis faded away but it was still there, and it then returned viciously so i quit the juicing. but for the first years i had psoriasis i was on prednisone, and steroid creams like dovobet and dovonex. these creams ruined my skin and made them thin, i will never trust a doctor ever from my experiences that i had with there prescribed medications. I was very foolish following what the doctor said and believing that he had the cure. When i go to india, i will try the elimination diet, i will not drink any pop, any processed foods, no meat, alcohol, and smoking. strictly vegetables and fruits. I will stay for about a month i just hope the rain doesnt take away the sunlight most of the time. I will report back on how my progress will be going in india.

Soo, i was watching this youtube video on how they make hash in india with there hands by rubbing the plants. They then ball up the resin that is stuck to there hands. SO they have a ball of hash after. And if i do not find the oil i might just use the hash balls.

But my question how can i make this ball of hash into a liquid/oil that can be applied to my skin? I was wondering if i can mix hash with glycerine because it is a good mosturizer and it heals dry skin. I think i can use coconut oil also.

I do not know how i can make this ball of hash into an oil/ointment for my psoriasis.

if anyone can provide me with a process, i will be very happy.
