Just wanted to get a conversation going about BB EWC tea's and what people are using. Im currently brewing a heaped teaspoon of Myco (http://www.fungi.com/product-detail/product/mycogrow-soluble-1-lb.html) a few teaspoons of molasses a handfull of EWC in about 1.5 gallons or 5 litres of RO filtered water and an air pump for about 48 hours.

Seems to be working really well in my top feed hydrotion system but im interested in what others are using or how I can improve my brew.

You should check out the organic forums, you'll find lots of info there. In addition, endomychorizzal fungi needs a host root to germinate in, they have no place in an ACT. Assuming that product is what it's name suggests.

You could continue to use the product you're talking about, but the mycos don't brew. They need to be applied making direct contact with roots. They aren't likely to survive the brewing. The other critters-the bacteria listed on the label at the link you supplied, should like the brewing. So if you don't mind wasting the mycos you can brew the rest. Good luck. -granger

ok thanks Im following a recipe i got from another website call heisenburgs tea and i thin it was originally developed for DWC and fixing root problems/ brown slime. Seems to keep my plant healthy so kept using it even though I now run a top feed system and not DWC

Mycorrhizal fungi will germinate in a brewer. However they will not reproduce and expand their colony until applied to the root zone. Its a great idea to brew all that from my perspective. And just to prove I'm not bullshitting you can check this book out over here. They recommend applying mycos to to a moist simple fiber food like powdered oatmeal and waiting for the fungi to produce mycelia/spores. THEN add the colony of fungus to a brewer.

Great link that you posted adz. I wonder if the product you posted competes with hydro industry mycos in price/effectiveness. Products like CES's T-rex/G-rex come to mind. I noticed that the product you posted contains Bacillus thuringiensis- a larvacide used to control fungus gnats/ mosquitoes. Way cool

Endomychorizzal fungi does not germinate without a host root, ectomychorrizal fungi is useless to cannabis since there's no symbiosis so whether it germinates in oatmeal is irrelevant. Period.
