The dehumidifier that I had to get. I walked into my room and the walls were crying.. crazy.. the humidity was through the roof, so I got this unit from a buddy. Apparently there was a learning curve for me.. but I got it sorted out now and its working properly.

The damper was installed under the AC intake port in the little room behind the secret door. It opens when the room vents which its on a timer for lights on to be on 1 minute off 4 minutes for the fresh air exchange. This damper helps to control losing valuable cooled air or stinky air too.

Here is the new register that I installed into the living room ceiling that is ducted into the lung room behind the secret door.. the fart fan motor was warming the air too much making it hot inside teh lung room. This vent fixed all those problems.. I didn't take a pic, but right behind this vent is a small inline booster fan giving it a little extra oomph.

Both vents.. fart fan is the 4 inch and the new register is the 6 inch.:

Ok the green fan up there wasn't cooling the room quick enough, so I got a can-max fan 8 inch 750 cfm.. its like a jet engine.. I've never seen anything snap to 750 cfm so quickly.. most of them take a second to warm up.. not this one. The instant that you plug this fan in, its at 750 cfm, its crazy fast. Unfortunately its as loud as a jet engine as well, so I had to stick it up in the attic.. here is teh 8 inch vent coming out the veg side:

and the 8 inch vent sucking out of the flower room ceiling:

I finally got the wall up to create the new hallway closet to completely seal the room off besides the secret entrance. I still haven't done that yet.. But soon.:

Ok that pretty much catches you up to right now. I'll make sure the updates are more current and a bit more detailed than the first part here. I'm gonna cruise around the city and see if anyone wants to stop by and say whats up!

Glad to be here!

Man i wanna see more on that secret entrance, that was pretty confusing for me at first until i saw that the original entrance is going to be turned into a walk in closet, sick! Also, I would add a spill tray to your flower room, one that covers the whole floor.

keep this updated please its an awesome grow log

Hey what's up dude! Thanks for coming by to check it out.. Ya the original room entrance is slated to become the new hallway closet for our linens and things. I'll drywall up the small entrance to the veg room so the secret door will be the only way in and out of the room. I'll put some different pictures tonight to lay it out for ya.

I was thinking a big sheet of linoleum would do the trick for the grow rooms floor... Every plant is in its own plastic saucer though, and I hardly have any water spills, of any at all, so I might just stick with what I got right now. If I did the linoleum way, then I would get a 10X10 sheet that would cover my 9x9 flower area, plus go up 6 inches on all sides..

I'm really waiting on this harvest to do anything else new to the room.. I need a mini split AC first and foremost.. So after that then I can get on the flooring. :D

Uh oh.. Forgot about pictures of the secret entrance til I just got on and re-read that part.. I'll try for tonight after work..

Heres what I got for today:
Hey I wanted to show this.. As yall might know, I have been having some heat problems, so I got stupid and put the central line into the flower room. It would appear that the problem for now has been solved. The temps dropped to 78 in there last night and never went higher than that. I checked it this mornin and its at 65 whereas before with the dehumidifier on, it was more 70-71. You can see at the top where the duct first comes out of the ceiling that I poked a small hole for the ac to cool the veg area as well.. it seems to be doing a good job thus far.;)

I put a 8 inch Phresh filter that I bought in the corner with an 8 inch fan that I had layin around.. it seems to be doing a good job of keeping the smell down to an absolute minimum. Its also pulling air into the room which is keeping that stinky air inside me thinks.. Haha I hope it keeps working the way that it is right now.. I'm stoked for this!

Lookin good, the linoleum sounds like a good idea and 6 inches up the sides of the walls is pretty ideal, thats how tents are they have 6 inch side walls attached to the spill tray.

That cola looks like it is gona get sucked into that 8inch phresh haha! looks great

Now all you need do id run that AC all day
What are your electric bills like

Bro, it runs here all day regardless of what I put it on.. its just too dang hot here for the ac to catch up.. most homes are that way in these parts. I got some energy efficient upgrades coming my way as soon as I can start harvesting again.

Planning on some new windows throughout the house and radiant barrier installed in the attic. All we have is the aluminum frame windows that you can feel the draft blowing through as you walk by.. Gotta get that fixed for sure. Along with the radiant barrier we are gonna get 15 inches of insulation blown up into the attic as well to make it really nice in the house all year long and very cost efficient.

Luckily, I got a buddy thats gonna hook it up fat for me for a great price. Its good to have friends that have friends that have friends. :smoke:
