Iffy, I grow in dirt(potting soil with peat & pearlite) do you think Humic/Fulvic would help, I'm using GH Maxibloom in the KISS theory. Any other suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi Drift,
I can only see a positive in adding humic/fulvic acid to your feed. You can get it fairly easily & cheaply in the States, in soluble powder form. Here in the UK we're stuck with expensive bottled stuff @ 8%, like Ancient Earth. However saying that, I wouldn't go without it either, at twice the cost!
Liquid seaweed is also something I would highly recommend. Your plants will love it, helps them cope with stresses and keeps them really green & healthy!
Stay safe my friend & happy growing :tiphat:

Lovely looking girls Iffy!

If you need a good source for humic and fulvic acids try viresco.co.uk,they have far superior products compared to anything you can buy in a hydro store.
If you ring them you will get better prices than what you will get on their website.

Hi Oldbootz,
Yeah, they kinda caught me out again with the vigorous growth! I 'soft' flipped them too, (as you know) which in hindsight was a mistake - you live and learn!
So I'm LSTing them for the moment, just bending them over into the available spaces.
Looking good though :biggrin:
Stay safe brother.

Diary Update.

Diary Update.

Hi Folks,
Another update to the grow diary;
I'm seeing just phenomenal growth with this run. I'm sure it's not only that the restriction I built-in last time is gone (I fitted mesh to the bottoms of the pots & choked the roots!! - TWAT!!)
I do think the Humic/Fulvic additive & liquid seaweed is having a real beneficial effect. They are sooo green & healthy looking. Not a single yellow leaf or spot anywhere!! :woohoo:

Gonna need some serious pruning tonight when the lights come on!
Stay safe & happy growing :tiphat:

I know Drift, it's crazy. I'm running out of height!!
I should have 'hard' flipped them as Oldbootz recommended, they wouldn't have carried on vegging so much. Next time!

many people will disagree with me, but i only use the liquid seaweed in veg. it seems to delay flowering if i continue using it into flowering. it primarily consists of auxins and cytokinins which are plant hormones. from my rough knowledge of these things: auxins are the energy metabolites that cause fast growth and cytokinin is the plant equivalent of estrogen. its a female plant hormone that encourages branching and rooting. liquid seaweed is known to trick plants into growing a larger mass then their root systems can support. this is useful if you feed it to a root bound plant. but in flowering it can create more airy bud structure.

Diary Update.

Diary Update.

Hi Folks,
Another diary update;
Girls are looking fine with some lush root growth running down the table & into the res.

Res change today and the waste water was really clean & with a nice smell to it. Done a lot of pruning in the last couple of days, about 3 x 12L bucket loads of leaves! Some serious LST going on at the top of the canopy but the flowers are popping now. :woohoo:

Feeding;
350ml A&B Plant Magic Bloom
200ml AN Ancient Earth
100ml Dutch Pro Explode
100ml Shropshire Liquid Seaweed. (Reduced from 150ml)
30ml H&G Roots Exel.
200ml AN Bud Candy
100ml H2o2
30ml PH Down

PPM C: 1000
PH 6.1 reduced to 5.9

Well, all seems okay. Will keep the diary posted.
Stay safe people & happy growing :tiphat:
