Yeah.. they are not too informed apparently, which is kind of funny. Scale is everything! Since when any "self respecting" big grow operation was ran under the disguise of being a medical marijuana grow? They are lost and confused.

The prick even connected us with the Mt Charleston outdoor grows they took down last year. They said it was Mexicans when it happened; but now it was patients growing up there. "Yeah, that's it....That's the ticket....it was patients growing."

So, how long is it before we the state get another chance to pass this law, but do it right?

2 years. The next legislative session in 2015 and the new law, if any, wouldn't take effect until some time in 2016.

Biggest problem I have with this bill is that Senator Hutchison DOES NOT BELIEVE IN MARIJUANA AS MEDICINE!! He has given law enforcement every thing they wanted and Segerblom has gone along with it to get what he describes as a bill that isn't perfect, to pass with law enforcements blessings. This bill isn't about patients. It's about the state making money and forcing patients into a system that many can't afford.
They limit our possession amounts and now say we can only visit 1 dispensary in a 30 day period.
Then turn around and say that 40 to 50 dispensaries, in just Vegas, will cause them to lower prices due to competition. If dispensaries are going to have to shell out just 170,000 to begin with, grow facilities will have to shell out 250,000.00 to begin with, then they are going to limit how much we can use and how often, where is the incentive to lower prices? Total bullshit that doesn't hold up.

Yup.. but is it amended to grandfather us or not? The "mock up" amendment Tick produced on Saturday had 2 versions of the section 22.3... one with grandfathering another one with out.

They said yesterday that we would be grandfathered in for the next 2 years yesterday. We'll see

If they have taken out the grandfather clause, it would be the lowest, sneakiest ploy I can imagine. It might make some few feel self righteous enough to grandfather themselves in. Not me though, I'd move back to Cali where I'm loved. I'd want no part of this Banana Republic. We'll see soon.

But, the mock up on nelis is the 2nd reprint and has the grandfather clause, so maybe never mind. I don't fucking know, or trust them. My stomach hurts again.

I'm with moving to Cali! This shit is getting old. Just looked at Worksession document and there is still 2 versions of 22.3. One with grandfathering another one where it is scratched out. Still confused what the heck they voted on today? The final thing surely can't have both.

This bill DOES NOT have to go to the ways and means committee. Just found that out. If the chairperson of that committee wants to review it in their committee they have that right. What is happening right now is the bill with the approved amendment is going to the printer with the amendment in it, then to the assembly floor. From there it is read, approved as read, then voted on.
The Ways and Means is a step that it could take but is not a requirement.

OK hold on, we are OK.. or should be.. Section 26 says "Sections 22.3 and 24.9 of this act become effective on April 1, 10 2016." Section 22 is where we are grandfathered. Section 22.3 is where it is removed. The whole maneuver IS the grandfathering thing. So yes if it passes, and it looks like it just may as Resinryder said they don't need to go to Ways and Means, we should be OK for another for almost 3 years.

So if signed old school jews on the list can now grow 12 plants, and have more than an oz; but new school jews can buy from any one disp per 30 day period and no more than 2.5 oz?

I know NV is an immoral place, but this level of corruption takes the cake.
