I am really fighting buying seeds today...so many strains I want to run, but I already have a full tent and a full fridge! lol

this is why now when I want to buy another pack of seeds I think to myself, do I really need these seeds.(as in AM I REALLY EVER GOING TO GET TO GROW THEM OUT)
but I still sometimes can't help myself.

I guess its more a case of space rather than time. because if you had poly tunnels or a warehouse grow then you could grow them all out then buy the same amount for next year! lol

iv said that excate same thing unless you can grow our decent numbers ......................... its crazy people having thousands of seeds when they can only grow 10 at a time for example

its funny how all logic go's out of the window !!


but im guilty of the same i probly have 10 years plus seeds half will be dead before i get to grow them out :S

Speaking of dead, I just put my last two Paradise Durga Mata on moist cotton wool. You can't even buy the ol' Durga Mata right now--it's out of stock everywhere!

the durga mata has been rename to allkush (if i remember right), but sadly, the allkush is continously out of stock (unless you go with the femmed version)

Allkush and Durga Mata appear to be different strains since they won an award for Allush way back in '05 (and my pack is from around then or a little later). My DM seeds are regular. I'm hoping they both germ so I can do a seed run!

Picked up two packs today. Kicking myself now because I'll be visiting some fully stocked grow stores shortly and they are clearing lots of old stock at half price.

Pretty sure All Kush was Sheherazade.

About a year ago I found a site that had Durga Mata regs listed as in stock, so I ordered a pack. After over a month, they finally admitted they didn't have it, and sent me a pack of Serious AK to make up for it. Funny thing is they still have it listed as in stock.

I'm glad I found this thread. I thought I had a problem, but I see it's not too bad as long as I stop now. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good long term seed storage thread?

Most stores keep them in the fridge; I put them in jars with rice. Sheherazade sounds more like it!

Dang, you bought a pack of DM Regs and got Serious AK as a substitute...let me know which site.

Correction, I put them in the fridge in glass jars filled with dry rice. The freezer works too, but is a little trickier...you want the moisture level right, and you can only freeze once. I'm good with the fridge.

I actually enjoy picking the strains and seeing which ones come to fruition more than smoking. I only smoke a few times a week these days but I love trying new strains and attempting to find the "holy grail."

That definitely is part of the allure too...finding keepers. Up until now I've been happy just harvesting some bud to smoke, but now I'm going to start looking for MILFs (Mothers I'd Like to Foliate).
