Though they do provide for some interesting targeted research, if you can sift through all the dick measuring there's gold beneath lol

I have been running a 56 plant/1k SOG in tents for a few years now and the best I've done is 912g (2.011 lbs) on a clone-to-flower 60 day BDH cycle.

Averaging the highs and lows I get about 750g/1k. I'm not saying I can do better but I put in very low effort, about 30 minutes a week into each tent and I'm very happy with my yield to effort ratio.

Can this thread be about posting your average or highest yields without all of the bragging, arguing and bs?

It's fascinating to me what different setups yield when dialed in.

:asskick:I hate threads like this... These boards are full of info on how to setup a pro grow op. go do your homework like everyone else who gets bomb yields... It ain't gonna jump out at you from one post:snap out of it:

Thanks for the honest feedback but perhaps my intentions were misunderstood. I am not a nube so I am not looking for someone to hold my hand to get a stellar yield. I have been set in my ways for the last couple decades or so and with things changing and so many new ideas and technology I am looking for honest numbers to see if I should be more aggressive or if my numbers really are as good as I think.

So I don't see why anyone would hate this thread. If you get stuck in the same old same old, you might to rethink your strategy.

Patience, Patience & more Patience

The longer the grow period, the more weight. Count your branches per plant. Go 35 to 45 branches or more, trim out small branches and go another 2-3 weeks and do 12/12 flip. I grow one plant only and get serious poundage. Make sure you have a big pot or bucket. I use 20 gallon totes, dwc. Oh yes, it is a tree when done, depends on the strain I am growing. Indicas get about 4.5 ft tall and my sativas get about 7 ft. I have 8 ft ceilings.

Yes sorry you right its not as bad as some I have seen. My worst is: what is the best yielding strain?... Answer: the best yielding strain is the one in the hands of a grower who is willing to learn growing technique!

People who incessantly post that kind of stuff wanna hear: Godzilla Monster Truck Kush from Killer Yield Seeds buy 1 pack and you guaranteed 10 lbs per light!

Could not have said it better myself.

So you are about where I am, 1.5 to 2 per light on average. Yeah the dialed in part is key. After this run I may be able to say 2 on average if this yields the way its looking.

But I must admit I had a disaster one time and only got about 9 zips off a 1k. And the it sucked at that. The worst part is that I had many years under the belt and it was mostly my fault. Those were some pretty depressing moments but I learned that I don't know it all and bounced back:)

Good point on the branch count. I am doing about 3 per 1k so many tops is key to a good harvest. I am kinda experimenting with the biggest possible yield in the smallest container. I am doing 5 gal coco airpots DTW and so far looks like it'll range from 10-16 zips per. I want to get to 1 elbow per in a 5 gal air pot, so I am real close. If not I will go up in pot size.

I work n the mmjs field and I have seen rows of 1k lights w 2.8 lbs under every light . When u start having "many" lights the lumen saturation increases thus giving larger yields per light.but w 1 single 1k this I have never seen high 2's per 1 light.

Yup when running multiple lighting this does not give you a real indication as per
as each light is spreading onto other... and so forth giving you more wattage per any given area then just one light would
With all the reflective wall material out on the market
Having 1 light in a room then adding another is a day and night difference in brightness
Yo purple i am still waiting for these ridiculous yield vert grows ??? you mentioned

I said that like 9 pages ago.

One thing that has caught my attention is a fellow on here running 49 plants under 1 bulb and pulling 3 lbs, says hes gonna run 100 in one gallon pots and try for 6.

If I wasnt worried about numbers I would give it a shot that style for sure.

yea but 100 plants under 1k means no veg time very small yield per plant count more or less a sog with yielding less then 1/4 of plant rest is larf

That's gonna be a big footprint. Even with 1 gallon grow bags, which you can make square or round, 64 is the limit per 4x4 tray and 56 is the limit with 2 2x4 trays.

Real numbers remain about where they have been for a long time, people with expertly dialed in programs approach the 1g/watt ratio, but in a perfect world that leaves us just over 2 pounds per 1000w.

Everyday numbers by skilled people growing above average to heady quality strains in the circles I frequent run the range from 1-1.8 lbs per 1000W.

"Pound per light pays the bills" is still a valid mantra, so don't let braggarts make you think you're not succeeding, even they have room for improvement, they just don't admit it.

Here is the thread it was mentioned in case im screwin up explain or understanding.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=163063&page=127

I can sort of see it happening with a plant that makes very dense nugs.
\
Actually you just have to sit back for a moment and think 10 by 10 room = 100 Sq feet and with one 1000 watt bulb your looking at 10 watts per sq feet add in some loss factors
my guess is 100 plants would stretch like a mother fcker lol and not be very dense buds wattage per Sq foot dictates dense nugs and yield just go look at a CFL grow 50 watt and compare it to a 1000 watt grow plant :tiphat:

Well the sour bubble is dense as fuck and is very low stretch, thats what hes growin.
I mean who the fuck knows but that scenario or similar seems like it is feasible in my head to get big numbers, specially with a low stretch and dense nug strain like the SB.

Top to 4 heads, grow 7 nodes or so and bloom, thats what I would try if i could run big numbers. A gram a node is a zip a plant in that set up.

Oh says hes also usin MH to bloom, would really cut down stretch further and make tight dense nodes, specially in low stretch plant like sour bub.

Edit

I think he means a 10 x 10 pot foot print to = 100 per bulb. 6' x 6' bloom areas I believe.
