Im looking for some high CBD strains for my next grow for medicinal purposes.

Can you name some strains for me guys?

I was looking into Cannatonic strain but on some sites people state that there are a few phenotypes of this strain and not all of the seeds will grow plants with high levels of CBD.

I talked to the owner of the company that makes Sea-Crop seawater concentrate recently and a grower used the product on Original Diesel and Kyle Kushman's Strawberry Cough. There was a decent increase in THC and a dramatic increase in CBD according to lab tests. FWIW.

I just picked up a Harlequin clone a few weeks ago. I'll flower it later this year to see what it's like. This clone supposedly has about equal levels of THC and CBD.

Cannatonic is a great strain in her own right, fast flowering, big yields and very very tasty, similar to Somas Tangerine NYCD, as are several other Resin Seeds strains.

There is a really good thread here where someone posted up the results of Harbourside testing 20 odd Cannatonic plants, THC:CBD ratios were all over the place, many 2:1 and 1:2, the 1:1 50/50 plants actually seemed to be the rarest, but they do happen, see the CANNA lab test from 2009 on Resin's 6:6 clone.

Personally, I would grow it and try out the results, see what works for you and your friends, ignore the hype of other products and go with the original plant known to give out consistently large %CBD phenos.

No seedline gives 100% consistent plans anyway and sadly the "Medical" seed and growing world is full of more bullshitters and sharks than the regular clandestine narcotic growers scene.

@Puffin13 I have read great thing about Charlotte and Harlequin and as a sufferer of generalized/social anxietys would be nice to grow and try them but as i see this strains are more popular in USA.
I have searched some online shops from Spain from where i usually buy seeds and they dont have them on stock.

@Chaos Its a sure bet that i'll plant some Cannatonic seeds on my next grow but beside i would like to grow a couple of other medicinal strains as well to see what fits me best for my needs.
I know that this business goes with a lot of bullshitters and false advertisements but now im looking to buy some Charlotte and Harlequin seeds as well.
Are you from Catalunya region? I usually buy seeds from a shop located in San Sebatian that have an online shop too.

If it happens to know some other shops located in Spain that have Charlotte and or Harlequin on stock please P.M. me some links. Thank you very much!!

P.S. Guys meantime if someone knows any other medicinal strains that are known to be good for anxietys and some joint pains it will be much appreciated your feedbacks!!

However, you are, imo right in trying a number of things, what works for one, does not work for another. Cannatonic [Jamie of Resin's 6:6 cut] makes you much calmer, without sending you loco, off your face stoned, for some people it is "buzz kill" but for others it is heaven. It is also, an excellent plant, perfect if you need to function, yet like to have a J.

In my last order I got a freebie of Shark Attack, which they claim is high in CBD. No way to confirm that, but it is a very nice smoke that I would definitely like to grow again.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, I believe hemp is generally high in CBD with little or no THC. You can even (legally) buy hemp oil products that contain CBD only.

Vancouver Island Seed Co's Rx. That's the strain the high CBD cut known as Omrita Rx came from, if all else fails maybe you could have some luck finding something similar.

You're still dealing with genetic potential regarding strains. If you're in the EU then Sea-Crop is sold under the brand 'Immutin'. Lab tests prove THC up about 50% and CBD up about 200%. It's nice to grow a supposed high CBD strain.

It's not seawater but a seawater concentrate. Seawater has about 3.3% sodium chloride. Sea-Crop/Immutin has a sodium chloride content of about 2% while the trace minerals are concentrated up to 30 times. Something like boron is very important. Also all of the organic compounds are retained in the concentration process. The organic compounds are very important. The organic compounds come from the plankton blooms.

You can grow some high CBD strains. If you do not have a good nutrient program the plants will not produce the most CBD. Sea-Crop/Immuntin will not replace a good nutrient program. It will help.

I found a CC Mag old one 2005 Anyways they tested Salmon Creek and Big Bud had 21% cbd and 8% thc . I just found this so I thought I would let you know stay safe headband 707

I recently tried a phenotype of AK 47 that had around 7% CBD but as far as I know its not a particularly common phenotype. Most auto strains tend to have high CBD ratios and they do so rather consistently.
