Man we've got some pent up rage all up in here.

I gotta say, I would definitely do less plants over more plants, every time. Veg is easier than dealing with a huge amount of plants, even with automation. Super soil + water + low plant count = most productive grow I've ever had. Should have numbers in 2-3 weeks. I'll post up cost/gram numbers... Much more efficient than any of my others, thats for damn sure!

Personally I am doing 6 plants under 2k. Coco in 5 gal airpots. Thought about going to bigger on pots like 10-15 gal but I'm averaging 11 zips (and this run so far is set to be more) in 5 gal so I think I'll stick with the smaller pots. So LED, you could prolly use those pot sizes and veg an extra 2 weeks and really blow it out. It's the coco that allows these smaller pot sizes when compared to soil/soilless.

Now on the other hand, if plant counts weren't an issue and I was in it to make the most cash, I'd be doing about 100 or more of the white rhino I have in that same space. All in 4x4 rw cubes in an e&f table(s). And I'd use europonic's two part and really nothing else.

Hey LED, what's this thread about again, lol:)

Alrighty, long overdue update.

Checked EC run off again last night and still showing an EC of around 2.4 coming out??? I flushed 35 gallons of 500ppm(700 scale) through the plants and EC was showing 1.4.... 2 hours later I feed the plants the tea I brewed and shut timer off, figured that was enough water/nutes for one day!!

Today made up my Aptus Nutes with a total EC of 1.0 and feed plants that. I'm reducing feeds from 3 times a day to two times and will be feeding them 0.6-0.8 EC and checking run off daily. Once I see run off EC start to fall then I will add back the third feeding. If after adding back the third feeding I find the EC still dropping I will then slowly rise the feed EC.....

Onto the pics!!! Day 21 of flower, end of week 3

I'm sure it's nothing but since I'm sooo paranoid about fucking broad mites and know that one of the signs is brown pistols was wondering if it's normal to get a few buds here and there with some brown pistols this early on?? when I feed tea yesterday I gave them a very light foliar mist with the tea 30 minutes before lights on. Think it could be from that?

Bro keep on flushing til you get the ec where you want it. Remember I was only feeding once a day til week 2 then twice a day there on out. I was able to get by with high feeding. I was flushing about every 2 weeks.
I would just lower your over all ec and feed more times a day. When you do that you dont need that high of an EC.
Plants look great by the way, if I could suggest doing a light leaf plucking to open that canopy a little your plants will be happy and more colas for you

Looks great bro

Now thats night and day from your last(and first I believe) grow. You should be getting some poundage dude. Better get ready for some long nights of trimming...what a good problem to have, eh?

So how did the mold on stem issue turn out? You see last night I noticed that the stem on my plant in the far back had been getting a direct spray from my drippers (or should I say sprayers). The base of the stem, which is the size of a coke can, had gotten a bit slimy. I immediately gave her a misting of physan 20 on the slimy part only. And just a a couple pulls on the trigger. Then I put a fan on her. Hope urs is fixed.

Thanks bud. Like I said I've dropped my feed EC down to 0.8. I will see how my run off turns out over the next few days.

Been thinking about doing a light leaf pluck to allow a little more light to enter the canopy. Think I will do that tomorrow before heading to work. :tiphat:

You got any pics of your plants medicalmj? Love to see these big ass stems you speak of!!!!

I'm definitely hoping for more weight than last time!!!! Hahahahah. What do you think about the odd pistols going brown? Normal??

I think my mold issue is in check now. The area with black mold seems to be fine now. The area with the white fuzzy mold ended up killing the one branch that was shooting from the main stem. I sprayed that area with my tea a couple days ago but did not see any new mold growth at that time. Will be checking out again in a couple days to see how it looks but I think it's fine. If it does come back I will be ready as I'm picking up my physan 20 on Friday

That's tough to say. Have you grown this strain before? Are they receding and dried up or just brown?

My first thought would be the spray. Back when I got PM I used greencure which fried the pistils. However the greencure didn't seem to affect new pistil growth.

I'll see if I can find a camera. You know I'm not into pics, lol.

Those brown pistils can be LOTS of things.

The most common is that those pistils were touched or damaged.. even a leaf bumping the pistils from the air flow will cause them to brown and receed, that has nothing to do with bugs or deficiency.

Find a bud site with a leaf resting on it, the pistils will have browned and receded.
