Nice plants, amazing how much of the original cotton candy/C4 you can still see in the branching, structure and bud shape in those Tse Fly...

hi chimera,
I originally thought C4 was chem4.
the addition of your C4 was a very good decision on mosca's part.
the genetics in tse fly on both side are rock solid and evident in the uniformity of the 4 pheno's i ended up with.
1 was a bit different , my golf ball pheno but still much alike the other 3 in structure and branching as you noted chimera.
looking at your C4/cotton candy strains and the influence from them in Tse Fly
they are on my *bucket list* :smoke:

OH YEAH!! thats what I'm talkin bout

OH YEAH!! thats what I'm talkin bout

OK......
the results are in from my tester.
samples were taken @56 days/8wks
plants were chopped between 67-69 days
so we have one last test to run but I'm confident these results are going to be very close to the actual chop times/

the results are broken down into categories in taste,
quality and duration,
then potency.
potency is based off my best strain to date and was logged a 9,
few have matched her potency and quality :bashhead:

OT x IBG

pheno #1
taste:
a solid 10, sweet, hashy bubble gumish tasting.. outstanding flavor!

quality:
very long lasting daytime smoke, very clean and clear hi W/easy come down

potency: 9

pheno#2

taste: same as #1

quality: same as #1

potency: just under #1 8.75

pheno's #3-#4-#5

taste: a bust, looks are A+ but no flavor

quality: doesn't last long

potency: 6-7

pheno #6

taste: OK, not as good as #7

quality: pretty long lasting daytime smoke

potency: 8

pheno #7

taste: good all the way thru

quality: not as long lasting as #1+2 but good

potency: 8

-----------------------------------------------

TSE FLY

pheno #2

taste: fruity+ hashy,

quality: long lasting daytime smoke, w/ a quality, functional hi
has an easy glide back to terra firma

potency: 9

pheno #3

taste: same

quality: same as #2

potency: 9

pheno #4

taste: same

quality: this pheno has earned a distinction not yet used by my
tester and is designated by a triple L acronym--> LLL
the triple L designation stands for:
La La Land
it can take you thru the phases from an exhilarating daytime smoke to a very relaxing, comfy, couch locky nitetime smoke.
very versatile, she can take you as far as you
want to go starting from....
plain ole stoned----> to certified *zombie status*
BEWARE!!
you will be unable to follow the plot of an episode of
Sponge Bob Square Pants!

potency: 9

pheno #5

taste: same

quality: as with #4 it can take you from day to nite time depending.
this pheno's also earned the coveted long lasting
*all-day wrecker* status.
hammer down on this lady with an 8AM wake-n-bake session and don't expect to be needing anymore *inspiration* from this senorita till 3-4pm that afternoon mi amigo's :bandit:

potency: 9

well the otibg's did better than the initial tests, it was looking a bit dismal there for a while
also I'm not sure the Hi PPM in the 1st 2-4wks didn't have some impact on #s 3-4-5 potency and taste?
still i got 4 of 3 that are kickin it with one outstanding lady.
and that's all you need is 1 top shelf pheno
but, she may not be the best pick for an indoor grow. very wide take up space type of plant. smaller but very numerous flowers on this lady, I'm waiting to see what the triple beams say on her.
she is a huge bushy plant that begs to be run outdoors.
i can see massive yields in that situation :plant grow:

the Tse Fly's
well they are all consistent and potent! the huge cola's and smaller stature on these make for a perfect SOG or SCROG setup.
never doe either but the time has arrived!
Tse Fly is perfect for it :canabis:

if anyone is interested the weight of each pheno will be posted upon request in the next week or so

Now that's an excellent smoke report...dude i want that LLL.

mucho gracia"s senor buck!
I did the outdoor gro thing in the 70s to early 80s
the 70s.... oooo maaaan.....
that was definitely the golden age of growing imo.
no aerial crap, i could gro wide open in he field t
he plants would get sun all day and thrive

in that time Ive run across 1 strain that was an LLL...
my currently dear departed amigo brought me seeds in 78
from a source that said they were from SE asia...
I suspected a thai-viet strain from the info...
at the deep south 32-35deg. lat designation it didn't initiate bloom till sept-oct

and it had the LLL effect....... :smoke:

Great grow and reports gnome. Thanks for sharing. Wish I had more than 2 TSI's to sample from my first go around but I'll definitely run her again.

I'm thinking of digging into some sonic fly next since I've been sittting on a pack for a bit.

thanks ringmasta,
you'll hit paydirt with your 2 TFs if they're anything like the batch I got,
i ordered 2more packs.
weights have 1 of them pushing 111grams off the stem but still needing some leaf trimmed off,
which shouldn't be much weight wise.

I took clones and will definitely be doing something with my TF and maybe 1 of my otibg's

also here are weights on the TFs
#2 111gr

#3-137g

#4+5- 222g

4+5 had a partial mix up wts were combined
#2-3 is a surprise because they were the smaller pheno's.
4-5 were the bigguns

OTIBG
#1- 111g

#2- 74g

#3-114g

#4-83g

#5-99g

#6- 132g

#7- 130g

lol... glad you were entertained mo :)
actually your the inspiration for this thread,
since i saw yours last year Ive had it bad wanting to give mosca's gear a go and I have plenty of it.
i got 3 free azucar seeds with every pak of mosca i bought, I kno i have over 20 seeds now :)
plus the C99BX

Ive been wanting to get a good chem cross in the garden so otchem4 were my 2nd choice after otibg and like the otibg i picked up 2 paks.

the other pak of otibg I still want to run thru and get a decent OTIBGmale and load up w/F2s.
luckily i have a tsi fly clone that is huge-n-stanky stanky :plant grow:
I'll stud him out with the next TF round from my clones.

I am stocked to the hilt with mosca gear!

Aaaawwww mannnn! Not more cookies!!!!! I didn't make you as a rapper gnome!... Please the OT chem4.

Gnome not sure if you familiar with the legend member here Stagger Lee? He said cookies really can't see what hype is about after trying it!

I am also interested to see how your keepers from the last round work as clones... On with the gnome show!

rapper Gnome, haha...
no Mo, Gnomey don't go that way :D
I know stagger lee
Ive followed many a grow of his.... he knows his chit for sure :smoke:
there's several different cuts of gsc's
my man said what he is working with is most definitely worth looking into
we'll see :joint:

as for if i will do another new batch of mosca gear, it's up in the air.
if I do, it will be otm x chem4 but I won't do a 2month veg with it.
it'll be a much shorter veg time, at least 1/2 that.
but again like otibg,
after seeing your results it's the reason i picked it up dear chap:dance013:

I saw a friend today that also ran a pack of otibg on my advice, he said he never found any keepers. He also spoke of a big branched one with lots of small round buds. But he has had broad mites so you never know... Maybe I got really lucky...

Sorry gnome the rapper comment was low... Some led zeppelin, Rolling Stones, grateful dead perhaps?

yup that's it, the big wide branches with small round dense nugs.
i had 2 of those and 1 is top shelf smoke, with taste + quality + bag appeal.
I may run that one again as it gave up 111g's easily.

with training i maybe able to still get yield within a smaller foot print.
it really is keeper smoke.

zepplin eh..

oh yeah!
