And we are off to the races. I threw the screen on top of them. its looking sad. i think I'm going to have to deal with this until i can afford to screen it right, and grow some slightly smaller plants. I'm going to feed them the remainder of the grow solution then switch them over to the flora nova. I'm hoping to use the same formula as i was using in the RDWC. I suspect at a heavier rate. i will try 15% stronger and see if they like it. also notice, the screen on the sentinel is covered. the LED is red and potentially could fuck up the photocycle, DUCT TAPE TO THE RESCUE!

The mini box is running 2 degrees above ambient. The clones were taken. I found the extra speeder tonight and attached it to the 4 inch exhaust fan. It's audible but not by much.

Still flowering.

Still flowering.

I switched to the flowering nutrients. this is set for a 5 gallon. i added a little extra ~ 2 gallons of fresh water for insurance.

10ml Flora nova
10ml CM
70ml Aquashield

Still cant find my PH meter... Drops have it at 5.5-6.0 which is what i expected for this mix. they are still showing a little stress from being root bound, the new stuff looks fine.

off we go.

quick update. I'm continuously tucking them down under the screen to spread them out. They have greened up some after adding the flora nova mix. Things are looking pretty good!

Well I have to say I am damn happy with the performance of the Drain to Waste coco. Things are looking fine. and the over all maintenance has been extremely low. I am getting roughly a week from the reservoir and the waste bucket is not even a 1/2 filled when i dump it at 7 days.

I haven't spoke to much of the feed timing. At the moment the sentinel is set to sense the light coming on and hits them immediately for four minutes. This is plenty of time to allow for a decent run off and ensuring they get a nice soaking. The timer is then set for 6 hours off so they get a feed half way through the 12 hour on cycle.

one other thing to note is that there are two 1/4" feed tubes per container.

Feed schedule is about 5 ml / gallon of floranova. 5 ml/ gallon of Cal Mag. 2 ml/gal PK boost.

pretty simple operation and it fixes some issues that RDWC has like needing a chiller. I'm pretty stoked.

Keep em green

Not too bad. Next time I'm going to attach a new screen, full width and length much lower to the perimeter of the box and add another plant. filling the screen in lower will allow a better light spread and ultimately more grams from the wattage used.

day 33 Bud Shots.

day 33 Bud Shots.

Quick update things are looking good. Had to refill the res today so a photo op was deemed necessary.

The little cab is operating beautifully. I still haven't fashioned a light block but I will get to it eventually. I have three little girls in coco. They are getting big and strong for the quick flip into the flower box once the two big girls are axed.

The bonsai mom can been seen on the right. She is in a 50 / 50 mix of happy frog and FFOF. I will continue to trim her back and take clones as needed. I figure i can probably get 3-4 month before needing a root prune. If you wondering the pot the mom is in is a 4 inch rose pot that was cut down to 4 inches tall.

In the near future i plan to run a dual blumat system in this cab. two runs of pipe connected to two different reservoirs. one straight water for the mom(s) and one reservoir supplying grow nutrients and added calcium to the coco plants. if you look closely you can see a blumat stuck in the mom pot. i was brainstorming and it got left there. that's about it for now.

wow, you're doing great job in that cab, hazy! :good:

do you feed the mom in any way or plain water + root pruning + fresh soil do the job?

5th, Opi, Nkots, Chloe thank you all for dropping in!

Nkots, To answer your question:

I plan to feed straight water and take care of her needs with just root pruning and new soil. We will see how it goes over time. If she starts throwing a def, i have calmag and various hydro nutrients at my disposal... im hoping she will stay healthy without going there!

Keep em green.
