To hot for use in my rooms .....I noticed my Hydro store just got a new batch of these in. Does not dim ...
Way too much heat for the lumen output.
Look around for 1,500w HPS grow information, I remember seeing some growers bitching about how inappropriate they are for cannabis.
Now... lettuce in a 10x10 area might do ok.

1500w bulb options are pretty limited and I've never see one sold in any local hydro stores, that would be a deal breaker for me because in an emergency you're pretty much screwed.
It just seems pointless because you'd have better light distribution with a 1k and a 600. That seems like a lot of light for such a concentrated plant zone.

6 day ban. Apparently I had a communication issue in a post and people thought I was offering cuts instead of discussing a logistics issue.
Story of my life... Whatever. It was a nice vacation.

Seems to me I remember that being part of the conversation. A comfortable heat distance meant it was too far away from the plants for optimal lighting.
I could be wrong though.
