WOw, first, that smart pot design is genius. I'm pretty sure I'm going to try that out. Thanks! I hope you don't mind me offering an observation- I thought I saw in an earlier post that you didn't lay down chicken wire or gofer wire underneath your home made smart pots. the area where I live in norcal has very bad gofer issues - you can always see how they tunnel around underneath the smart pots when you move lift them up..I've even had a few friends who grew in trenches lose plants to gofers. Would you mind sharing your source for the smart pot material? Many thanks, I'm subscribed!

Cool green house. Those plants are going to monsters in a few months with those giant pots. Tagged in for this grow.

Good question. Just to be safe we did lay down a length of fabric to overlap the folds and basically make a bottom to the bed. Never seen gophers hete, moles mostly and they don't bother me. We ordered it wholesale from a place called grange co op locally.

A couple of my bigger plants, my boost mom and cherry pie mom are begging me to go in the ground, and it seems as if the rain/cold storm is over, so I may just give them what they want this afternoon/evening.

I love transpanting in this kind of weather, cloudy and not so hot. I spent my memorial day weekend pluggin and they are loving it, especially the girls that were so rootbound. I just wish this wind would calm down a lil. your beds are awesome Samson k+

Still storming like crazy over here. Hopefully everyone in the ground this weekend. June 1st, 2nd. All the ladies are in my Greenhouse/Hothouse I stick framed this winter. Still running the heater at night. I have to figure all this wind is blowing in warmer weather.

3 FrankenBerry
1 HeadBand
2 HashBerry/HashPlant

Fill in the rest of the beds with Blue Dream. Pics soon.

Since the housing market has sprung back, I'm framing all day long, 5 days a week. So exhausted by the weekend, always feel like I'm playing catch-up. My Hothouse saved my bacon this year.

See you guys this weekend with Ladies in the ground.

Peace

Pluggin away!!!

Pluggin away!!!

Well...after all that time spent and anticipation, the ladies are plugged, finally. Well all but 8 are done. Made one small change since the last update. The first bed I built was too damn big, It was getting filled with new soil and once I did the math it was going to take 1000 gallons of soil for 2 plants. So I tore it down and made it a 3 yard bed, or 600 gallons of soil. Im getting the last yard of it tomorrow and plating the black cherry soda in there.

My Beloved Boost

My Beloved Boost

Boost for those who don't know is a dank ass clone that runs in my circle. I made a thread on it in strains and hybrids. Long and short of it is Old Blueberry hermied and pollinated and old sweet tooth, the seeds produced this gem, and shes become the apple of my eye as far as outdoor gardening goes. Frosty as fuck, short and squat, finishes by October first and she is also a yeilder. All my large beds will be made up of all boost as well as three of my pots. Total of 11 in the garden.

Sideways planting Kushes

Sideways planting Kushes

I like to plant my Kush dominant plants in sideways, instead of topping. Or bend them over with a stake, it helps them turn into that nice bush shape that helps ladies like this SFV OGK below yield a little better.
