Just take a look at the massive increase in the deer population in the last decade alone. Deer are smaller, weaker, disease and parasite ridden shadows of their former selves.
As the deer population continues to expand their habitat steadily dwindles causing a very serious overpopulation crisis.
In some areas tens of thousands of deer are found dead each year due to Chronic Wasting Disease or other similar fates.
The massive overpopulation of ticks hosting Lyme disease which can kill humans, pets and livestock. Not to mention the burden it places on the health care system.

Humans are over populating the planet and our governments think so too.
Agenda 21 has been in play for some years now and is not expected to slow its pace anytime soon . It's sad that we live in an age where wildlife has a higher value than human life.

Have not killed or trapped any problem animals. BUT we do have a loaded potato g un on hand that we shoot at the deer in the back yard. Freaks the shit out of the unsuspecting deer

Where do all the tree-huggers stand on killing bugs that attack your canna? Why are these bugs any different than a raccoon? They are just doing what they were born to do and that is survive. A pest is a pest is a pest. The rest is just semantics.

P.S. I am one of those tree-huggers as well, I just don't see the reasoning in making the distinction. Life is life.

You people really don't know how smart a coon is. They call them masked bandits for a reason, unless you put it in a bin with lock and key, if they want in they WILL GET IN.

Animals often chew on plants because they are thirsty, I had this problem with mice so I left apples out for them, once they realized they could get moisture from the tastier apples they left the plants alone... There is always an intelligent solution that doesn't involve killing other beings!
