the room doesnt even need to be that well sealed just run thermostatically controlled fans and for most of the day you will lose very little.. if you have heat spiking during the middle of the day then use a timer to turn it off and just use it in the plants morning/afternoon..

i always run lights through the night to avoid temp spikes..

I run lights at night as well, the electric is cheaper then too.

I'm interested in how you do your thing. Have you got a diary or summat up on here?

im 30 days in with these 2 1000k and things are looking better then my 4 600w so far, buds are obviously bigger but the plant as a whole is better. I dropped plant count when i went with the 2 1k's because the lights didnt fill as much space as last setup. ill keep things updated and see if i can get some before and after pics and also compare pics to last fun with the 600's . Once i find out the wieght in the end, i will make a decion to keep the 1 k's or go back to 600w's

Whats the temps been like has there been much difference?

its hard to determine if there has been any chage in temps or not becuse its getting hotter outside so naturally the room will be warmer but it does seem easier to contain the heat then it was with the 4/600w. this was 1 of the reasons i swticthed to 2 lights rather then 4 in the summer. Id have to say there was a slight decress in temp with the 1ks over the 600w, but how much i cant really say intill i can compare notes to last yr. Room stays steady at 77 with 2 1k lights and an a/c with outside temps 90+.

nah man i dont have a diary or anything running through a full grow or anything.. ive never had two grows alike ever i don't think, i just love building boxes lol and starting random gear and have had a bad two years with getting robbed a few times by the same scum.. next time they die, no joke.. and spider mites

i use 600s mainly to keep watts down, co2 release with sensor so i can see the ppms,, veg in 5 litres soil, sex them in them, pot up into 11/15 litre pots few more weeks of 18/6 then flip and away.. ozone generator and that's it really.. i've tried most things but i'm running on skeleton equipment setup still atm..

if i was worried about that bs i wouldnt be on icmag period would I ??!.. the last time i interrupted them and got battered with a baseball bat fairly badly, like incapacitated and beaten on the floor,, so you know i'm pretty comfortable saying it, should it happen i won't shed any tears anyway..

plus i don't know who they are so it can't be a threat.. and i openly say i would like to see certain individuals heads be put on a stick all the time.. we are hard working people and these guys are real shithouses..

eye for an eye makes the world blind and in a way i thank them for teaching me a valuable lesson, but this is no weak target..
