growing autos indoors defeats the object of autos.

really looking forward to seeing how this project goes for you man. haven't we all thought about the benefits of a nice extra harvest in June using autos? so i can't wait to see how it turns out.

Exactly gaiusmarius.
No indoor auto grows for me. Not with all the fantastic genetics I have.
Next grow indoors is gonna be P98-BK, Cheesedog, Critical+.
I just recieved 50 more of the "NEW" Super Purple Kush feminized autos for outdoors.
2 phenos. 25 each of SPK#1 and SPK#2.
I now have 150 feminized automatic seeds to run outdoors.
Its gonna be a super busy summer for this man.

UPDATE......

UPDATE......

I put out 9 Magnums and 3 Deimos.
I'll be germing more seed as soon as I pick up the soil.
I need 690glns of soil. LOL (thats just for the OD grow)
Ill need 150glns more for my indoor.
84 bags of FFOF anyone? $1500.oo LOL! WOW!
I hope I can get 300 ounces in 90 days from the 150 outdoor autos......and 32 zips from my indoor grow.
I hope I can get 150 autos planted outdoors period! Thats ALOT of work....Risk.....and more work!
There are a ton of small spots everywhere around the area that would hold 12 plants each. Its just getting to them all without getting seen. Ill be Magilla Guerrilla this year. Ill be all camoed up like a sniper and moving like the grass.

What a difference 3 days in the sunshine make.
My autos doubled in size in 3 days! They love the sun.
Ill be putting out 28 more 3gln pots 2 weeks behind the 12.
Then another 40 in 2 weeks. Then another 40 in 2 weeks after that, and so on....until I run out of money for soil.

Ill be using all my old soil from the indoor grow since the soil is still chalk full of nutritional goodness. Ill just get 2 large bags of Fox Farms Perlite and mix it all in good.
Im using all 5gln black grow bags since I have them already.
Cant wait to have all my soil and pots stashed in the woods so I can carry them to the spots to get them ready for the germinated seeds.
Once thats done..... its just watering/checking them 1x a week for 90 days until harvest.
Im spreading my plots out in different towns and far away from each other to ensure some success. You know how OD goes. Its a gamble everytime. Especially with untested spots and 1 in a major city.

I have 300 glns of used soil in contractor bags ready to go out to the plots.
Once the soil is out at the spot and dumped out on the ground, I will take a hard steel garden rake with the short hard teeth, to mush out the square forms from the grow bags, rake out the roots, and mix in the chunky perlite. Then Ill bag it up into the 5gln grow bags into a big 50 bag circle. Ill put twine around the whole circle so wind or storms dont blow any over.

Ive got around 100glns of used soil at my buddies garden that had rich soil anyways. We are mixing it together and putting down 25 Super Purple Kush's there. I sure hope they dont get bigger than 24" high at harvest.
This is a major metropolitan city. Very populated. House touching house kinda area.
We are putting these autos to the ultimate test!
Cant wait to see how they do in the areas of disguise, quickness of flowering/automatics,
shortness of height, good solid side branching, potency, yield, and smell.

Heya Alone!

I've found you by a coincidence, backtracked you and ended up reading all your forum-sign-threads! hehehe..!

Really nice work! All threads throu!
Alot of beeeee-a-utiful pictures!
And really interesting OD-AF you got going on here! I woudnt mind any pics in here within time.. heheh..

You seem to have quite alot of C+ experience; You said somewhere that they wont stretch at all.. This makes me a bit confused... Did I missunderstand something, or are they just standing still from day 1 of 12/12??
(im planning to get them in a vert-scrog in 2 runs..)

I noticed you have a quite dry climate for your ladies.. Do you have any clue if they are mold-resistant at say... 65RH daytime, probably mid 80 during nighttime.
Since they are so fast I was thinking that they wont really catch any mold in those... risky 14-18days~. Any thoughts on that?

I hope its okay to make the bigger part of the post to a info-gathering rather then topic-related... Couldsend this in PM I guess..(?).

Best of luck at your OD! Ill follow it clooooose! :)
Drop in at my OD-AF to see how I'll do at 65N when whit hits the fan in some weeks if you want to.. :dance013:

Stay safe!

I havent been out to the AF's in 2 weeks. We've had major storm after storm and heavy rains so I hope they're ok. I will snap pics this weekend when I get the chance.
I hope they grew alot. We'll see in a few days.

UPDATE....

UPDATE....

I have 2 spots so far. The first is in a shady/wooded area with medium/low sunlight. This spot has the first 12 plants.
EDIT.....They are now in a SUNNY spot.
The next spot has 25 Super Purple Kush's that get direct sunlight all day long.

These are the Magnums in the first spot. (They need more sunlight)~

Try to find an area where the forest canopy opens up from east to west. They won't make it too far in a shady spot. As the season progresses it will become even darker

I know. I need to move them alittle closer to the sunny patch but the landlord got a new lawn guy and he backs up to the edge line and dumps the lawn clippings from his riding mower so I cant move them up where I wanted too. I will have to find a new home for these 11. (1 didnt make it) I have another spot thats a good hike, but carrying 1 plant at a time would be a PITA! Well worth it Im sure. I just may do that this weekend or next.
11 trips! UUUUHGGG! LOL.

UPDATE....

UPDATE....

I found a new home for all 12 of them. The 1 I thought didnt make it, made it.
They get direct morning sun from 6am - 12 noon. Then get shaded sun from Noon - 4pm.
Good enough for me. Ill snap pics in a few weeks after they get bigger and fuller.
Ill also be putting 2 monster sized Critical+ mother plants that have like 80 tops apiece on them Outside where my autos are in full sunshine. I went to the hydro store and asked for 50gln camo growbags. Didnt have any...so sad.
Ill just order them online and keep the moms under my T-5 until they get here.
