Very nice pics gnome. I think I'm gonna try out a little defoliating on a couple ladies I got right now.

Got an ADawg that is just way way too bushy. So much so that it can't possibly hurt.

I always defoliate the leafy ones and these otmibg's hasd some of the leafiest Ive grown in a while so its a process that lasts all through out bloom.
whenever i water/fertz I snip here and there.
it really eases up the work load at trim time.

ime its really very hard to hurt a plant from defo'ing.
you have to really go over waaay board.
Ive done it to where its like a wet cat, looks like there's nothing there, but when i do a heavy trim session the plants
within 5-7 days you cant tell and they seem twice as dense.

I really believe letting the light into the interior regions of the plant
that can get overly shaded benefit from it.
of course its on a plant by plant basis how much trimming gets done.

Dayuum bro incredible work as usual!

I now know what my next seed purchase is gonna be.... I didnt realize chimera's c4 is a shiskaberry cross that shines thru in the flys.... Ive been after the shishka or a hybrid for sometime now... also have moscas sweet tooth that im super stoked to run since its similar to the shiska imo...

Always a pleasure to see what the garden gnome is up to in there;)

aaaah your just too kind danks lol
I just lucked up and got some great genetics work with :dance013:
news to me too about the shisk having a hand in the tse fly's, they are amazing!
be nice to see that one reworked and put out again.
i never got a chance to work with pure shisk but from whatever influence is in my tse fly it must be
on another level.

I missed the sweet tooth freebs....
when i went to order the bay was out of otm x ibg so i had to go with another vendor,
shame too
everyone that's grown em out rave on them.
maybe someone I know will make some F2's and spread the love :smoke:

I have Mosca's sweet tooth in F2 and F3. I also crossed it with my C99 BX-1.

But hands down the Sweet Tooth is some of the best producing and looking nugs I have ever grown , I pulled 10 zips off one of my ex sweet tooth mums outdoor this season after about 90 cuttings of her for indoor runs. So it was super cropped per say.

It always gives me just under 2 pound in a square meter area under 2 x 600w .

I wish Mosca would release it for the public, I was very lucky and got 2 packs of 5 as freebies.

Good luck and great grow.

alrighty then!
I'm down to a few days until 9wks.
I'm just starting to see the onset of some amber resin heads
on a few of the IBGs and TFs
and still seeing fresh pistils emerging here and there on tse fly.
but they have bulked up about as far as its going to go imo and thinking chopping @63days/9wks---> weds.

62 dayz!

62 dayz!

hey syz.. its a predominantly sweet, fruity, floral aroma going on in the room, slight sour undertones here-n-there with a splash of hash.
the nugz on all the tse fly are extremely dense and hard as are most of the ibg's.
couple leafy ibgs are on the loose side, but the IBGs I thought would be the softest turned out to be as dense as the TF's.

really hoping the nugz stay dense after the cut, last round i had a chemmy jones that was rock hard,
after the cut it was like a balloon pricked with a pin.... :shucks:

Ive got my smoke report from test buds picked @7-1/2 weeks which i believe
is going to be the same as the final product unless i let more amber come around.
and there's some definitely some surprises in there

I'm taking one more round @9wks/63days which is tomorrow and chop chop! :smoke:

well i passed on the chop on weds,
the amber really isn't setting in yet but purpling has on quite a few,
I noticed some of the calyxes purpling up here and there 10 days ago and figured
that would be it but its accelerated enough I'll wait a bit longer.
plus tse flys are still pumping out fresh pistils, not a lot but... :shucks:

its the IBGs that are taking off in the purple dept.
especially the leaves, I thought its the plants running out of nutes and some of it is but
Ive been seeing purple calyxes occasionally for the last 10 days but now its picking up speed with the calyxes,
the tse fly really aren't doing any coloring

I am now beginning to think its a trait in bubblegum... the BG I was running was a 70-74 day finish depending how amber I wanted my trichs, it usually turned about 25-30% purple, 20% that pale green/blue hue that shows before calyxs make the color change, and then about 60-65% green, and my flowers were damn near identical in appearance to some of yours. I do have a tenancy to drop my temps by 5 degrees when I begin my flush though, and I "flush" unnecessarily for 2 weeks (even though I RARELY ever use synth nutes) which could attribute to the color change.

Yup my otibg will purple if run 9 weeks and over, gnome do you feel you get better yield with that defoliating technique?

mo, I think it yield does increase in that more of the lower buds that are heavily shaded get a crack at direct light and get to fatten up more.
i get very little fluffy popcorn when defo'ing.

ok i just noticed something and made a mistake too about what what purpling,
3of 4 tse fly are purpling like crazy and definitely coloring/yellowing out from the flush,
of the 2 iBGs, in this *group* both are like purpling like crazy along with the 3 TF's

and all of these 5 plants that are exhibiting great changes in color are under the Mh bulb

everything under the HPS, 5-ibg's and 1 TF aren't doing anything along those lines:chin:
I put the HPS on the 5 ibgs and 1 TF to see if it would affect the ripening process and I'm getting that Q answered...
but not like io thought.
Now I'm thinking the Mh bulb is what is making this obvious difference!

pics coming tonite!

yeah i think the IBgs will easy go 70 days, i am just barely starting to see any amber on them.
the Tfs will finish sooner.
I flushed these extensively with my new *Gnome auto flusher* i made.
I'll explain later :smoke:

thats really interesting g.... you dont think your just seeing the color better under the mh do ya? ...... just trying to think of logic here... i would think that mh or blue light would induce no color if anything simply because the orange spectrum of the hps mimics the autumn sun much better..

i really like all the stuff u been doin w mh in flower i think ima try;)
i cant wait to get some of these tsi's goin and moreover get some in my pipe!!! lol
